Interesting read MR. I think we should sign Oledzki to join Kopczak and Krasniqi in our Eastern European enclave!

I think Swinton have been issued with a winding-up order by the IRS. Could we buy them as our A Team?

I hope so it gets a bit boring and morale bashing to hear of yet another RL club in trouble. I also noticed that about Total, I think some troll has it in for that forum, it happens far too often. Mind you between the number of times they send a thread to the cross code forum cos someone dared mention union in a critical way (maybe secretly they prefer Twickers to Old Trafford fun) and the number of times they circumvent stuff that has broken none of their million and one rules and unwritten laws it's not surprising they've peed someone(s) off. I also noticed that once again they were using the troubles at another RL club to bring up the Bulls issues with the past, the RFL and the World in general so maybe it was a Leeds fan that had had enough?

Looks Like we still have a chance at keeping hold of Niall, but his future is undecided according to the League Express. Link to the full article HERE"Salford winger Niall Evalds admits that while he’s not made a final call on where he will be playing next year, a decision should be made soon.
The 23-year-old has excelled in the Salford side in recent weeks, capitalising on the departure of Justin Carney to Hull KR by cementing a place on the wing, scoring a hat-trick in last Monday’s victory against Warrington.
He is out of contract at the end of this season and League Express understands several Super League clubs are monitoring the player’s progress: but Evalds says nothing has been settled on where he will play in 2018.
“There’s a lot of stuff going on in the background,” he told League Express.
“I’ve not made a decision on my future just yet, whether that involves staying or leaving. I’m just concentrating on playing my rugby and my agent will deal with all that.
“A decision is going to be made soon on what’s happening, but for now, I’ll just do what’s best for my career – whether that be staying at Salford or leave, I’ve got to decide what is best.”
Evalds also admits it’s great to be back in the Red Devils team – but revealed he still has long-term aspirations to become a top-flight fullback".

I can't see us departing from the GoB formula that has worked so far, so can see Evalds leaving to pursue a FB role elsewhere. Tough one for the club as they clearly want to keep him, just not in his preferred role.

It would be criminal if we didn't get a fee for him if he doesn't want to extend his stay. He's a class act. As you say Carnster, it's a really tough one because GoB has been great at fullback and hasn't done anything wrong to warrant being usurped in that position.

When we signed MCB he played (successfully) in the centres, looking at him he has bulked up even more during his time with Wakefield so I'd love to see him play there again. Much as with Johnson that bit of bulk and his initial speed of the mark could make him unplayable.
Much has been written about him still living over here and pretty sure he was well liked at the club so why not, if Evalds is off then more than capable replacement who fits in with the culture of the club.

In the 5th Tackle out of contract SL players list: Niall Evalds: Age 23 yes Greg Johnson: Age 27 no Robert Lui: Age 27 ? Lee Mossop: Age 28 ? Lama Tasi: Age 27 ? Logan Tomkins: Age 24 no Adam Walne: Age 26 ?
I know this list is not up to date but which ones are sorted along with Tomkins and Johnson, here?
PS Is there no juicy imaginary bid for Billy Slater?
How exactly do you start a rumour? Sell it on Ebay? Get the Troy press to say Jeremy Corbin did it? Go in to BetFred and put Money on it?
Pssst, TBA next week Billy Slater signs for SRD, Shhhhhhhhhhh!
