Hardaker signed for Cas. Ben Crooks left to help make room on the cap presumably. Crooks gone to Leigh on a season loan. wouldn't have minded taking him at Salford but not sure we have a non-fed spot and would rather build for the future rather than a one season loan

Wouldn't have minded Crooks myself, though not sure why he would have been non fed trained?

His Dad wasn't a bad un. Though he is from Yorkshire so maybe he should be classed as from over seas and a second class citizen

That'll be Lee Crooks's Lad from Hull , had a storming debut season for Hull then went off the rails , then went to the NRL where it didn't work out - then came back ' chase-ned ' to play for the ' Legentium 2nd Chancers' .
now off-loaded to Lobbyville to make way for the next 2nd Chancer

Just tweet Bleasey asking if our signings are complete and he replied yes. That is disappointing and hard to know what to make of it all. Can't believe they think the squad is strong enough or complete. And as I said I think we're finding it hard to attract high quality players.

It's tactical to show we aren't desperate! its also illogical. If we were busting a gut to sign Hardaker to play centre, why would we now say the squad is complete. We need a centre and I'm pretty certain we'll sign one

Bonita I can't see how it's tactical or useful in any way, but there you go!

In the last 2 seasons we have brought in Patterson and Jones at the death, wouldn't mind a signing to match either of their quality if we get them closer to KO.

I'm not sure they need another three quarter. I think we had too many last year and could afford to lose a few (although, given a choice, MCB wouldn't have been one of them). Surely, the replacement for Josh Griffin is already at the club in the shape of Josh Jones (well, hopefully a slimmer shape of Josh Jones than the one that finished last season). I think centre is his best position, and he did a better job of it than Josh Griffin when he played there. Another possibility is Daniel Vidot. Now, that's not me going all Michigan Red on yo' ass and treating the centre as a kind of vanilla, missionary position where you can drop in any player you just happen to take a shine to. No no no. Ian Watson said during the year that they were looking at Daniel as a potential centre. So, with Carney, Sa'u, Jones, Vidot, Johnson, Bibby and probably Evalds all available for the three quarters, do we need any more?
Second row though...

Josh Griffin put us in a position to win the MPG. #justsaying Daniel Vidot may well turn up and look like a rugby player next season but it's a stretch to believe he'll be the answer in the centre. He might be,but you certainly wouldn't put your mortgage on it !

A lot can happen in 100 days - Carney - Josh Jones were late deals - Josh Griffin came in mid season.
Maybe a bit of last minutes Xmas shopping ...
SRD / Blease have to say ' we're happy ' even if they were vying for & missed out.
We are not a top 4 club & we only stayed in SL by the skin of a midges winky , we don't have the climate of Perpignan
However if the other 11 clubs have spent all their pocket-money & someone of quality or prospect does appear then it leaves the club with room in their cap in pole position ... #justsaying
