I think we have easily have enough props now especially when you consider how many carries our wide players made this year. We need cover for JG, I'm not into playing players out of position so if we have any room in the cap let's bring in a quality centre.

If we're struggling to find a decent centre, I said it when KR let him go last season due to cap issues I'd take a punt on Kris Welham for season or two.
Always liked his style of play, had an eye for the line and had a good set of hands.
He's 29, not sure what his stats were this year but he scored 30 tries for the Bulls and took a clean sweep at their awards, taking 'Players Player, Coaches Player and Members Player of the Year' awards.
Anyone know Watto to let him know ;-)

Couldn't agree more about Welham not a starting centre but brilliant back up and proven try scorer. People like him and Johnson in the squad adds real depth. And as he's at the Bulls even Salford will be less of a rollercoaster.

It is interesting this michigan when I saw that article I wondered if it was a possibility. Still registered with Leeds. Going to tribunal. Leeds attitude is in marked contrast to the Joel " pants on fire" Moon saga. Giants still in the mix and trying very hard to build up after last year. If it happened our squad would look extremely handy all round. |

Nottinghamtiger is on the Leeds board saying Hardaker was at a Cas event last night. Given his previous during the Chase saga, I expect us to announce the signing by lunchtime. |

There's something on social media saying Crabtree has retired and freed up cap space but "it's too late to sign Hardaker". No idea how true it is but might mean Hudds are out of the reckoning?
Got a feeling he'll be signing for Cas though

Both Cas & Giants fans both think they've got Hardaker. He wants to play fullback - Cas have just lost Dorn & the no1 jersey at Giants is up for grabs .
If we were to sign ZH - playing Full back would disrupt O'Brien / Evalds - Playing him I a ' non preferred ' position would be a risk. considering .
Cas - sign Greg Minikin from league 2 York in 2015 - he's now pretty much cemented himself in Cas's staring lineup - Id rather we be smart & look for potential .
Keeping Aaron Moore - Lewis Fairhurst from the U 19's looking for potential - being a careful , responsible club who spends it's cash wisely ...
I think Crabtree made a good decision and it makes him a 1 club man, which I admire TBH. but he would look right with a straight nose

I think ZH will stay in Yorkshire, although he's good mates with Charnley who is playing at the AJBell this coming season.
Hudds look like the obvious destination to me, but you never know.
