If Brown is going to hang his boots up come the end of the season I'd love to try and get this kid, if you blurred the face out and watched this you'd say it's Hastings playing reserve grade.

Good call, alert the club.

He’s signed for Souths and is close to getting games apparently (Although I’m no NRL expert) but there is obviously some talent at that level over there.

He's good but he's not going to dislodge Cody Walker or Adam Reynolds so if he was to say go a full season with minimal game time you'd think he'd be open to doing a Hastings and coming to SL and putting himself into a position to make a name for himself.
We are lucky that Hastings came and the fairytale unfolded around him, if we ever needed a look at us moment that right there was that moment.

Cody Walker in trouble & out for two games naughty boy in a very tame street fight, fessed up and copped a ban.
Sounds like a troubled soul in need of a Salford to me!

Facebook reporting that Featherstone lining up Welham for next year. He's had a few critics but overall I think he's done well for us.

I think he has been brilliant overall but some people only see the missed tackles when he comes out of the line. He has a drop in form, I (and others) criticise him and say it’s time he was dropped and then he has a stormer - it’s been like that for the last 3 years! He’s the new Littler - successfully fighting off his annual replacement. From what I’ve read he’s being sensible about transitioning to a career after rugby so a part time role nearer to home makes sense. He deserves a good send off if he goes - even his biggest critics can’t deny his contribution.

" even his biggest critics can’t deny his contribution." I think they could and probably will, but he's awesome at times, steady most of the time and occasionally 'what's he up to now?'
but on the whole I've a lot of time for him.

Chris Welham has been a good player for us. I was delighted he signed on again this season when it was suggested he might be going. I will be sad to see him leave.

Welham has been quality Have we ever had a player with a better hand off? The number of players he’s sat on their arse has been fabulous to watch

The number of players he’s sat on their arse has been fabulous to watch Hancock possibly but he only lasted half an hour and struggled to manage that in his second season. I remember when he floored Senior at Headingley then trod him in for good measure.

Kerrod Holland (Canterbury) is being touted around SL.
I remember watching his 1st grade début on the tellybox and him kicking an injury time conversion to in the game, only problem is anyone who says mate this much really should be chemically castrated.
Has promise and can slot in right across the back line, has played a little hooker and in the halves.

From rugbyleaguehub.com:
Tyrone McCarthy is looking at his options as his contract at Salford is set to finish at the end of 2020. Rumour is McCarthy, who's 31, has a few options in front of him for 2021. The back-rower is keen to play on and we're unsure at this stage if the Red Devils want to keep him at the club or not. So far our enquiries have gone unanswered.
