I think he’d have had a contract with levels of expectation and I heard he’d been warned for disciplinary breach by turning up for training etc late…so possibly not as much as we’d think….an ‘it’s better if we draw a line under it’ amount…think Blease been in this game too long to let anybody drain us too much

Rumours on X suggesting Lafai to FC for a big fee and Marsters signing for us. If true this is a fantastic piece of business. 33yo v 27yo it’s a no brainer

Sorry but Lafai will be a big miss, no matter what age he is, his offloads are best in league and he can break tackles, if true disappointing

Agreed. Would be dreadful business letting him go. He's one of the best centres in the world and the best in SL in my eyes. Don't care his age or the age of a potential swap. He's class and durable so thank god he's got a long contract as we need to bat the interest off.

RD, it’s normal, we’re a selling club; let’s hope, if true, Rowley doesn’t get fed up with it

I agree he is class but if you have the chance to get a fee for a player that’ll be 34 next season and that fee contributes to the salary of an equally good player in many respects and 6 years younger then I’d call that good business. Especially when the rumour is that Tim wants to leave with the lure of big bucks on offer from FC

The report I read of John Davidson said fc want Lafai but he does not want to leave Salford and Salford don’t want him to go.
Doubt we can afford masters

RL is a Team Game and continually selling your best players in order to financially survive destroys the team pattern which take an age to develop…we seem to have perfected this over the years…its good business for the accountants
I wonder why Hudds with all their bucks want rid of Marsters…or is it normal X drivel?…certainly not something to get excited about

Your just looking at numbers rather than the actual player, quality, style, wages, length of contracts etc. Plus not sure the last bit is true

These are all rumours so 🤞crossed Tim stays and we add quality to the squad aswell. That’ll be a win win

Hang on a minute. If Lafai is one of our best so is Marsters at Fartown. Makes good business sense too but only if Marsters is a definite. Not interested if otherwise.

Personally I can’t see us getting masters if we do it’s a great deal
Lafai has been one of the best centres we’ve had in a long long time but money and a younger player helps

We’re a selling club to survive, so no real surprise really…if it’s true…I’m sure the reason will be steered to the City Coucil or the supporters
Although I doubt he’s going and it’s probably just X rubbish again
