Crabtree is close to signing but is trying to gather any last minute interest from any top 4 clubs which aren't interested.

I'd take Crabtree for one season and then look at finding him a position within the club, very media savvy and a decent role model for the younger forwards.

didn't expect him to sign for us and TBH thought he would have made more impact in his stint with us.

I think a salient point is would Sheens go for Crabtree?
Think everyone agrees we need a little more grunt up front, still say it's a no nonsense prop would can do big minutes, seems to be very little available in the UK, did put a few names from the NRL forward, I'd be asking if Sheens had any irons in the fire before he left and pursue them.

I wouldn't go for Crabtree, he is too old, too nice, not enough aggression. He would be perfect as an ambassador going around schools, what a presence that kids would be in awe of. We already have mozzer in that role, think Hudds are missing a trick there.

I'm not sure at all about Mr Crabtree, seemed to go missing last season but couldn't be picked out in the crowd of Giants that that could be said of.
As far as Mr Sheens is concerned whether he'd go for him or not cannot be an imaginary yardstick we apply to now.
Is there any news out there about a bit of quality, or is Mr Joseph coming back?😎

Id be gutted if we signed crabtree. Was decent 5 years ago but sadly another example of good player well past his sell by date. I want young hungrier players, id rather see the young lad from wire given minutes than a crabtree
