Anyone heard anything about either of these? - Salford coach Ian Watson explains how rumours linking his players away from the AJ Bell Stadium are “rubbish” ..Watson also sheds light on what his new-look leadership group may be in 2017. Stories from League Express???

Adam Walker has officially signed for St. Helens. LINKRepeat mode : "According to LoveRL Walker is on the way to Saints. It is little wonder there are not many changes at the top when players always seem to opt for the top clubs. Predictable and understandable but means little in the way of breaking into the top 4." Booooooooooooooo!

Not that bothered to be honest. Would have been a chance for us anyway. The fact that Canberra are offering him the most minimal contract possible says a lot.

There's a picture doing the Antisocial media rounds of Hardaker signed in at Barton visiting the Doc.
Still not convinced he is a better option than Jones who is wasted in the back row where Matt Sarsfield is an option we have back from Halifax next season.

I'd be ok with Hardaker, he is a class player. Just needs to grow up, change of club around a good group of players will work for him. regarding Sarfield, I don't think he is Super League and I think Swinton are signing him

Cas fans were convinced their big announcement was Hardaker. Turned out to be a young lad from Oxford. It did make me chuckle though.

So Saints swapped Tasi for Walker from HKR ... Hmmm
Tasi , even with an indifferent season at saints still made more yards per carry than Walker , I would have chosen the James's Green or Greenwood from KR .
If you read the saint board you'd have thought he spent the whole season hiding in the dug out.
he had 10 starts & 9 sub appearances yet his stats don't appear 'That bad ' he's on par with Richards - Thompson - Vea & Savelio.
more surprisingly his stats at Saints are BETTER than his two seasons at Salford ..
It must be down to expectation .
It obviously hasn't worked out at Saints , he's coming ' home ' to a Club with players that are his Friends with Fans HE knows supported him.
Confidence & team spirit is a huge factor in performance . the 1 year deal speaks volumes - it's a make or break season .
If Watson can get his form back to this game it'll be the right decision www.rugby-league.com/superleague/match_report/11988

Ex Halifax assistant Marlon Billy will become our new assistant under Watson. Ahh , that's who was in the stand with Watson in the Million Pound Game .
He was assistant to Watson at Swinton & had been working as a conditioner and part of the Backroom staff at Halifax.

Would have been brilliant to see the name Savelio back in a Salford shirt as his Dad was always a whole hearted player, but never mind already it looks like Warrington are going for the steam roller effect next season, I just hope we're not going for the seat of our pants as per this season.

I'd be overjoyed TBH . potential to be MOS again if we get him ' right ' , though Potential resident of a Government Hotel if we don't .
Though cannot imagine Hetherington doing a deal with our owner. link
However ' Craig Harrison is his Agent ' ( Kriss Brinning - Daniel Murray )

The meltdown at Leeds a couple of years ago are bound to have an effect on any loan deal for Hardaker, the problem I see with that is we are likely to get him for one season and him play out of his skin only for a 'big' club to come in and get his for nothing.
What I would like to see is Hardaker inside Carney and Sau/Jones inside Evalds - that is the perfect combination of power and speed for me.

In fact - I'd let Warrington off the Hook on this, Lokeni ended up in the Warrington area & Andre played his junior Rugby at Latchford - he was poached at 14 by Saints so you could say Andre has signed for his hometown club .
I'm surprised his Saints career petered out , given the early form he showed -
