Still only 4 clubs have won it in 28 years. If that doesn't make you sad and tell you that SL is in bad state then I don't know what will.
NRL needs to get hold of this and level it out. Its far to self serving with the big boys running it and ruining it

They is a few factors in why super league has had only 4 teams win in past 28 years RFL and referees to how clubs run and any club can have all the money in the world and be successful but it’s the decisions they make to become successful….. we can build on this year to become a better team and club it just depends on how we make our decisions

Can’t see him leaving tbh even if Wigan have signed more players and money spent the problem is with the rules Wigan can go over the salary cap plus with the marquee signings it doesn’t count to the salary cap which also helps the big teams
Do you think Wigan would have French and field if the marquee signings wasn’t a thing

Wigan is basically a **** town with nothing to do except play Rugby League or work in the Uncle Joe's Mintball factory.
Loads of amateur clubs.
Decent financial backing.
I wonder why they're successful.🤔
Some of you need to stop putting our great club down because we can't compete with them and the huge advantages they enjoy over us. Enjoy the fact we're punching above our weight and stop trying to find any excuse to put the boot in.👍🏼

Yes the club are on the up and its great to have some real positivity about the place. However, the top 3 will not let you bust their cartel. If you think its a matter of not aiming high or having a bit more of a positive mindset, your deluded. Take your blinkers off and look at who runs the game and how its always been stacked so the top 3 benefit and always win. Personally I'd hate to support either of those 3 and the constant winning in that way would just feel hollow. Jeez I wanted Hull KR to win last night so much. To have had 3 of the 4 teams in the semis for this never having won it and wigan still to win is gutting. Anyway, bigger macro issues with the game and apologies for derailing the thread. Anyway new props  |

Anyway new props Well there's a lot to unpick in this debate, though I'm glad to see real disagreement.
It's in the nature of organisations to create hierarchies that favour those on the top and that establish themes and myths that blame those on the lower rungs for their situation. Of course you can do a great deal to improve but there will always be things more advantageous to those on top. The top will have its own set of reasons and logic for why they're truly wonderful and these never highlight those advantages. The only real leveler is money streams and the top teams have this in abundance. The idea that there is a level playing field is the biggest lie in the process.
Of course the management of the game could do far more to ensure greater access to success but as they would point out, where's the fun in that?

It’s the clubs job to improve which we are doing but to just bitch about how unfair the league is is pointless |
