Sutton won’t be coming unless we have found some money down the back of the sofa he’s on nearly 200 grand a year in Australia!as for not wanting older props springer is only 31 and hill is in the England trading squad again!spoke with Paul king he said the issue is the lack of British props again the likes of Wigan stockpile them so obviously when new season starts we could look at loans,we were in for forber the hooker pretty done deal but he said Wigan pulled the plug when O’Neil was out for so long!

You can’t blame Wigan for being a better run club ffs😂 everyone knows the lack of British props which makes are quota signing pretty silly really Looking at getting loans is just poor management

What we need is to generate money, then Rowley can start to compete properly.
The £150k income apparently via the Stadium deal would only just about pay for half the cost of buying Dupree, who’s an interchange prop, and we feed other clubs our younger players…now Partington, sadly
Watkins, Sneyd, Mellor, Lafai, Hill, Brierley, Singleton, Hellewell all getting v close to their sell by dates…and this is the backbone of the team. And we’ve lost the Blease links to a wide range of players…. Can Watkins and Sneyd play a full season again?
Could be a v testing season…let’s hope Rowley can work his magic again…amazing how he does it with such sparse resources

They have done it for years, along with leeds and saints. All of them hoover up everything so no one else can be benefit and stack everything in their favor. You would have thought with the way leeds have dealt with us in the past 12 months this would be obvious. Think back to the 90s when wigan were dominate, they signed so many young players and just kept them in the reserves. Fortunately the likes of Naylor and Blakely managed to get out, otherwise they would have been left to rot and never had the careers that they did.

Do you think the same thing when we’re signing champ and league 1 players??? Bet you don’t,

Wigan Saints and Leeds also provide the sport with a huge amount of talent which they have developed through their Academy systems
If we want to emulate them we have to generate the resource funding to compete. Simply they generate the funds and they spend them to get the best team out they can; we exist by taking players from them, and others and as a Feeder Club they pay us good money for what we develop…such as Dupree and we survive.
Generate the funds and we can be a Wigan Leeds or Saints in the same way HKR are developing at the present time.

The top 4 have had multi millionaire benefactors to bank roll them and that allows them to pluck talent from under our noses for years. Hopefully now we have access to more revenue, particularly when the Jumbotron is up and making money we will be able to have enough funds to offer youngsters a tidy wage to keep them with us.
