We have been for years though. It doesn’t help that are back 3 are so weak returning the ball. Worry for us next year without oli We miss decent wingers, Sio and Burgess have been a massive miss. Sio would score 15 tries plus a season in a poor Salford team, Cross and Ryan will be lucky to get more than ten tries in a top 6 team. Agree with this, just shows you how good Sio was. Brierley has had his chance, if based on those two massive Hank efforts to stop tries Rowley does not see fit to bench Brierley v Hudds then I am at a loss. Loads of great points made, team attacks to flat, wingers just do not make yardage, discipline was awful. Anyone else sick of Nene and Lafai being used as battering rams off a flat pass?? Forwards not making enough yards, having Jack back will improve our pack. That was a horrible performance, just need to focus on Saturday now and keep in the Top 6.

Unfortunately I can only see defeat by Leigh. They are a good strong side and have been playing the kind of rugby in which we were playing a couple of years back...I can also see them pipping us for 6th place. I hope I`m wrong but having watched us the last few occasions, its been tough and its taking its toll energy wise now. The win against Leeds was good and did well to claw it back and then the fight against Saints which was heart wrenching...i just feel things are catching us up and it will take an almighty effort to get the 2 points on Sunday. OOOhhh I wish i could pick the lottery numbers. Ah well onwards and upwards.....my prediction for Sat is a Salford win v Hudds. We have generally a good record against them. Home form has been good when lifted by our crowd etc and hopefully Jack O back to boost the pack....our forwards have done wonder over the the season but generally now looking very very tired. I think it will all go down to the wire and a win against Cats the last game of the season.

It’s all done. This is the worst way to experience disappointment before hand. Had we been where most of the world expected, as in where FC are, then defeat would have a fatalistic air about it. But the tang of defeat is bitter when hope is high. It was an effective four pointer against the near opposite of our peoples club aspirations!!
The very poorest is to witness failure is where grit, determination and wit was missing. All any supporter wants real effort. A noble defeat is acceptable, not a capitulation.
Such defeat illustrates if not magnifiers the inherent strengths and difficulties. The lads look physically and psychologically gone. Resources wasted on ‘friends’ and/or crocks who could but can not relieve the first team. The wingers are invisible, the props mostly toothless. Too much not pushing up to tackle, Niko absent and questions are asked, Discipline remains a disgrace.
I could but won’t carry. The only way to apology lads is to beat Huddersfield. You need our support. We deserve better.

And nothing for Sam Lisone who goes round shoving his elbow into players throats. Pathetic.

Imagine if people were as passionate and emotional over actual real world issues that affect their lives, as they are about a sports team who lost a single game...
The mind boggles...

Got 3 points lead on Leigh who have KR, Wire and Saints in the last 5 games. If we can muster a win or 2 from last 5 then we must be favourites for top 6 spot.
In comparison to start of season we are by far better than most would have predicted.
Lose all our remaining games it'll still be a successful campaign.
