We are crying out for some big forwards, we are lightweight, think it’s also the fault of a small squad. We have been for years though. It doesn’t help that are back 3 are so weak returning the ball. Worry for us next year without oli |

Not much to say about that is there, every other club can see you need momentum to win games, just look how easy that was for Leigh’s pack |

Don’t think Rowley was watching the same game….all he said was of any note that we were to slow at the play the ball, nothing about ill discipline or stupid plays.

You never can wait LHR…if King got Rowley some money for a bigger squad with better forwards we might not have to keep fighting above our weight…oh sorry the fans don’t turn up, the Council are letting us down, the RFL are the problem In the end mate Rowley has done an amazing job with what forwards he can muster for the poor money he gets And when he makes a jewel they sell him to Wigan to pay the debts…you want to thank your stars that he stays As Dixon said at the start of the season…20 points will be a struggle…well we’ve got that and more |

This argument re big forwards isn't something new the great Cliff Evans started it in the early sixties with the great Swinton side that won 2 titles when the game went to the 4 tackles rule Swinton run the big packs round the paddock mind you the Swinton forwards could motor and the backs were fantastic JJR will confirm this. |

It’s not having a go it’s stating facts anyone who watches Salford can see we’re not big enough and rowley wants to play expansive but todo that you need some go forward first!like next season with the Money he has we now have 3 overseas centres so what’s the point of that when you can’t get out of your own half?!so the money masters is on which I can guarantee is not cheap could have gone on a big forward it’s just observations you love rowley but hate king and us getting beat 26-0 is now probably kings fault!

I don’t hate anybody…never have..but without money you can’t do anything..I think 6th or even 10th with the squad we can muster is fighting above our weight. Ask your mate about getting the funds in tho to give Rowley a better chance…that’s the real issue… I think he might have kept Dupree if he hadn’t have to be sold for paying off debts

Well you do a good job of your continuing slagging off of Paul king!probably is fault we constantly play shorrocks at hooker when he’s never a hooker and atkin is sat in the stands!as for money we have what we have and next season he has 3 overseas centres which is his choice when he could sign a forward!I am not the only fan who can see where we need strengthening but we don’t!

Couldn’t agree more, masters is a amazing signing but we need 3 new props and I’m not sure who we can get CW if Dupree is valued at £300,000+ then we have to have what’s left…at that rate a decent pack would be costing the whole of the budget…we take on players others don’t want, fit them into our jigsaw, give them confidence and most of the time they perform…today we lost it in the first 20…Leigh then sat back tackled well, with lots of holding down and waited For What it’s worth CW we do agree with you about forwards but we’re v v low in the pecking order for the better ones. Rowley has now got Partington to near international level…but hey ho…goodbye…off for more bucks Sadly that’s reality |
