Couldn’t agree more, masters is a amazing signing but we need 3 new props and I’m not sure who we can get CW if Dupree is valued at £300,000+ then we have to have what’s left…at that rate a decent pack would be costing the whole of the budget…we take on players others don’t want, fit them into our jigsaw, give them confidence and most of the time they perform…today we lost it in the first 20…Leigh then sat back tackled well, with lots of holding down and waited For What it’s worth CW we do agree with you about forwards but we’re v v low in the pecking order for the better ones. Rowley has now got Partington to near international level…but hey ho…goodbye…off for more bucks Sadly that’s reality If we can’t afford a decent prop we need to shut up shop 😂 as it stands I think Ryan b has been poor this season and gives us nothing going forward

Well you do a good job of your continuing slagging off of Paul king!probably is fault we constantly play shorrocks at hooker when he’s never a hooker and atkin is sat in the stands!as for money we have what we have and next season he has 3 overseas centres which is his choice when he could sign a forward!I am not the only fan who can see where we need strengthening but we don’t! You sound like you know more about it than Rowley LHR, when he gets fed up of all this and leaves, I’ll support your bid for head coach. We lost 6 internationals from last year, and so we need wingers, half backs, props, hookers, squad players…even you must think we’ve done well to beat a lot of the top teams and now be sixth..

I think Bullock only appeared for a short while…assume he’s now carrying a knock
Now he’s a good prop that we can afford

I think we have over achieved think rowley does a great job but like a lot of other fans who can see we need a bigger pack we should be quiet and not say anything or blame Paul king!I enjoy watching us but as soon as we meet a big pack ie Catalan Leigh Wigan were bullied!it’s simple don’t sign three overseas centres because there is no need!but we all have opinions and that’s mine

Poor in every department today. It’s unfortunate that Sneyd seems to be going through a dip in form. I also thinks it’s time to give Brierley a break, he looks a little broken at the moment.

The sad truth is that we lost 6 star players last year and Rowley has overachieved…I thought we’d be really struggling but we’re in there fighting We just simply need much more funds…and that has to be up to us, we can’t keep relying on others giving us handouts

It’s not having a go it’s stating facts anyone who watches Salford can see we’re not big enough and rowley wants to play expansive but todo that you need some go forward first!like next season with the Money he has we now have 3 overseas centres so what’s the point of that when you can’t get out of your own half?!so the money masters is on which I can guarantee is not cheap could have gone on a big forward it’s just observations you love rowley but hate king and us getting beat 26-0 is now probably kings fault! I have not slagged off anyone I am quite satisfied with the season so far,in fact we are above my expectations. I never thought we would end up in the play offs We have had some good wins and put in some good performances some of the best coaches that have graced this great game would struggle with this squad.

Not gonna read too much into the result. We have a dip in form. We weren't the only team to get tanked this weekend. All I can say about the game, for me, was that it was a comedy of errors compounded by bad reffing decisions. I'm not one for bagging refs, but he made some very poor decisions today. Ultimately, this group of players really needs to break the cycle before the play-offs. Get this bad spell out of the way. I think we have enough to stay in the six, just. The play-offs is a new competition, and teams get a clean slate again.
I think we are pretty busted physically and mentally. Our small squad is starting to suffer at this stage of the competition which we all knew would happen. To start saying that certain players are not good enough, or our forwards are lacking is just emotion taking over. The same group of players have beaten very good teams home and away this season. Nobody says anything when they dominated previously. It would be nice if we had bigger crowds to fund a bigger squad, but that's never going to happen. So lets keep getting behind them in what's been a decent season so far.

Fully agree Carnster. It all started going wrong with that penalty against Brierley for passing after being tackled. What was as clear as day there was that 1) Brierley was tackled, 2) he started to be dragged into touch and 3) he passed the ball as he was being dragged into touch. So it should either have been a penalty to Salford or play on. Both sin bins came very soon after that. So we were 2 players down, and had 3 injured - Stone, Bullock and Brierley. So we couldn’t interchange and the players were shattered from all the defensive work against a big pack.
Yes, it was a poor performance, but I think that there were mitigating factors. All games are big ones now, starting with Hudds next week. One good performance there and we will be back on track.

Other results have gone our way with Saints and Dragons getting smashed as well.
Seems nobody wants to finish 4th!
Game is still on but we need to be getting back to basic Rowleyball.

Hard to sum up that game I think we have got the players to be playing top notch rugby and to be challenging for grand final we could have won a few games but we slipped up I just feel it’s the training and game plans we can win every game but it depends on how we turn up on the day also who gets picked We have grinded and grinded all season and it might be starting to show …. I have been saying something is not right this season and it doesn’t matter if we lost players because we got new players in but we just havnt seen the fantastic champagne attacking rugby we have seen past few years Best example look at Atkin try from magic weekend last year switched direction and short ball back it’s something we have barely seen all year question is why
