After watching Hill's terrible tackling against us the other week, I wouldn't have him anywhere near us... The word "prop" seems to bring out posts that make little sense from normally rational people.
Hill is now at a stage where looking at him as an improvement seems way off the mark.
Alot of this talk seems to come on the back of defeats where the whole team played badly and the opposition did good and run strong so looking for answers in one position is way off the mark. I feel some would have 13 props starting and 3 more on the bench!!!!
It’s common knowledge we have one of the worst packs in the league and we’ve lost games because of them. Would I take hill, no but we need 3 new props |

By the way it's also common knowledge SRD don't belong in SL, that we're cheats and never spend up to the SC limit?

Away now with all that .... the basis of next year's squad is fine but can always be improved it remains to be seen if we can do that but SARL are convinced signings are on the way.But judging by their articles I'm not sure how sound this is at all.
In any case I doubt there's 4657 props available!  |

Apparently Chris Hill and Rowls played together 29x for Leigh…so at least he knows him well😉

Hill is the kind of player that would arrive at Salford by default in the past. He still may I suppose. But it would be a step in the wrong direction for me.

We've all had a laugh, but seriously this cannot happen and won'tafter the sidlow, dixon dibacle. Surely he's Championship bound to pick up his retirement check and play a few matches for oldham or someone similar.

I think we always need more quality players and a larger squad and I agree with you about Chris Hill if he ever had the chance to be a Red Devil he blew it long ago! Now is definitely not the time.

I could see an argument to bring him in if we had a few really good young promising props that he could mentor, but I think we just need some established "plug and play" props right now. |

I hope it's because he's just back from injury but Marsters didn't look anything like the same player against the Broncos.
Thought that London were unlucky once again too!

Marsters has had a bad injury he needs game time. Also saw Davies play, he’s ok but I’d much prefer Forber from Wigan.
We’ve got a full quota assuming Lewis takes up another year with us. That means any signings can’t be overseas. Bullock needs a contract as a priority. Its also worth a look at a couple of the London forwards plus the possibility of Pye stepping up.
Nene will play wing next year with Marsters and Lafai at centre which leaves Ryan, Cross and Hank as cover across the backs. Connell will also be in the first team squad.
We get Liam Byrne in the packs looking good.
