Wigan won’t let Forber go atm due to the O’Neil injury. That might be off. The backline next season will be Brierley, Ryan, Marsters, Lafai, Nene. We need another forward, a hooker perhaps a utility back. King V still has 12 months with us so will need moving on. All quota spots are full so all signings need to be British.

I think most of the posts stressing the need for another forward/hooker are probably accurate for the strength of the squad.
However, if all our forwards are fit a hooker would seem the necessity.
I thought Shorrocks, shirt pull excepted, was tremendous last night.

Overall he's been a good signing, but the other night was one of his worst natches for us. Granted he was out of position, but he wasn't good enough and I'm sure will correct this at the weekend. It does however back up that we absolutely need another hooker in the off season as a priority. Other priorities are winger, prop and 2nd row. Anything else is a bonus, but who knows what we might be able to afford?? |

Yep what we really need is …money Whatever u do, don't ask about the stadium deal though. One of the key things to help us unlock funding and reduce rent, increase revenue etc. Tow the party line and just ignore it until the powers that be decide they will share anything with u. Players depending on age and position will only be able to play a certain amount of games per year wich isn’t every game so rotation is key I think this is a reat idea for player welfare but also suspect the motivation behind it; quite clearly better off clubs with larer squads will suffer less if they are forced to rest players. And this would be especially true towards the end of the season. |
