Just a moment, where's all the celebrating?
Did I imagine we'd won?
Was that comeback just a dream?
God, you're a hard lot to please!
For a moment there I thought I'd stumbled onto the Saints' forum.

I missed the Cust tackle too. I didn't see him go off. Regarding Lafai, I know what people mean about passing, but, if you watch again, you'll see that the Saints players were sliding or had their hips pointed towards the side line. They'd have tackled Cross easily each time and possibly put him out of touch. There's not much point in passing to your winger until their winger has squared his hips and committed to you. It might be a bit different if you had someone truly rapid on the outside who juat needs half a yard to get around their opposite number (Johnson, French, QQ, Field etc).

Missed the Cust tackle…when was that? Its about 8-9 mins before half time, we attack, kick Bennison knocks on Cust is at PTB then gets tackled. Knowles twists his arm then puts his elbow to his head. Watch it back, Cust stays down plays the ball and then is off moments later.

Saints fans praising local lad Deon Cross.
Personally feel he has nailed the #5 spot along Lafai as there is a chemistry between them quite clearly

Got to remember he’s not played on the wing for a couple of years so there’s an adjustment which will need to happen Had a look on the Saints forum last night , apparently the ref was excellent first half but then terrible second half - coincidentally matches up with Saints winning / losing - I think we’ll still be down on the penalty count

A centre's job is to create the gap to put a winger through for the run in. Not give him a hospital pass to get creamed into touch, which would have happened each time. Cross doesn't have blistering pace , so for me lafai was spot on with his decision making each time. Shout out to both him and cross though who had the stains right hand side in their pocket all match and the winning try was just magic. Still flying this morning

Missed the Cust tackle…when was that? about 22 mins, he played on for a bit afterwards. but if you watch whole game saints have a habit (coached) of pushing themselves up (opponents down) by placing hands/forearm on opponents head/neck in tackle. Thought that was outlawed ages ago, strange given clamp down on head tackles nothing has been said about it.

I was worried that if Paul Rowley was ever indisposed we would struggle but my mind it now at rest, because we have coaches on here to step in🤔

I liked the way we tried new things from the kick off instead of straight to the Mann
