Well thankfully we have improved since the Pre Season game. The defence against KR was strong but Saints represent a different test. They were less effective against Leigh than the opening two rounds but still got a win on an awful pitch. The team will need to be disciplined against Saints.
The plus is Ryan is available Friday as is David Noafu though I thought Hankinson was tremendous on Saturday. Ollie P is a a week or two off now. Lets hope Brierley is fit also.

The team will need to be disciplined against Saints. I can't quite believe that anyone still suscribes to the indiscipline argument given the way the rules are interpreted and applied at present. You can be as squeaky clean as you like and still be on the end of an imbalanced penalty count!

Believe it or not there’s no conspiracy against us are discipline has been poor for a while now we were decent on Saturday and need to keep that up

OUR discipline has been no poorer that other sides, refs make decisions 98-99% correct some of which are wee bit pendantic and some sides just get collared more than others.
Interpretation is everything!

No way should Hank be left out. Has been flawless thus far.

Hoping for a good turnout from our fans for this one. Considering we've not won at Saints in 44 years you've got to admire us for being gluttons for punishment.😁
Full week of dry weather coming up as well so the cabbage patch at the TWS might actually be in half decent condition.

No way should Hank be left out. Has been flawless thus far. I think if Nofo is fit then he comes in for Cross. Unless Brierley is unfit in which case I'd be tempted to play Hankinson at FB and move Atkin back to the bench. As great as he was on Saturday he did drop a couple of bombs and Saints will definitely target him.

If Ryan is back I'd imagine he'd be the primary option at FB, if Brierley isn't fit. I agree that we'd be better putting Nofo or Hank there is there is no Ryan or Brierley as we effectively played with 16 men the other day. We need Atkin at interchange hooker if we're not willing to give Morgan proper minutes. The only issue is, offensively, Atkin works well at FB, being an ex-HB, whereas I can't see Hank having the same impact when we are in possession, which will stunt our attack against a very good defence.

Isn't Ryan a couple of weeks away from full fitness yet? Would be good to get him a match or 2 out on loan if we can rather than rush him straight into the team.
Saints & Wigan are almost free hits (although I'm never one to write us off against anyone) but Leigh is definitely the one out of the next 3 weeks should be targeting. We beat them 2 out of 3 last year and we all know what happened in the other so I'm confident we can do them again.

Our pair of Wingers are fit it just depends on Rowls wanting to play them.

He’s going to say that isn’t he but being realistic if nofa is fit he starts over cross who’s been average. Hank had been solid so alit harder to drop but it would be interesting to see some out and out wingers play outside Lafai and nene
