Friend I just asked a question I didn't want to start thread to ask the question I am sorry it upset you,it will not happen again,by the way it was on Swinton precinct so a Swinton supporter. But remember not every rate payer is a fan. It’s fine Dixon my point was just about the negative press story the media pump out specifically SARL and Matt Shaw. My point was made moreover on focusing on the team not rubbish on social media. Sorry I understand.I don't know about social media I don't know how do it the only information I get is from this forum or what I read

Inshallah…God willing…looking better than I thought mate
Rowley does amaze me in the way he gets over adversity and gets another team of high quality together …putting numbers on the gate and keeping the tills rolling. The Club depends on him achieving with sparse resources …brilliant…
I do admire his openness and honesty…a breath of fresh air….if people only realised it’s the way to carry on, everything would be much better in the end
I wasn’t looking forward to the season, but he always achieves..and Watson brought him in as a temporary helper😉 Good job Marshall didn’t stick

Also our discipline and defence was indifferent. For a supposedly much weaker team to come into this season (missing key players) and defend better with more enthusiasm and then score points with both first choice wingers missing is nothing short of remarkable. In addition the pivot that Shorrocks becomes gives us another dimension in attack. Sometimes change is a positive, Rowls and his staff have done wonders the first few games with this group long may it continue, credit to the players for investing in the ethos and applying the effort. With 3-4 players incoming this group will fulfil their potential.

As for the Scousers they still represent our biggest test yet, they are without Hurrell. It will be interesting to see who the coach picks?

At least we haven't got Chris (Saint) Kendall reffing. Tom Grant has the gig. I quite like him.

Yep I think what he’s done amazingly well with such limited resources and with turmoil…it will of course fail at some stage of the season because of lack of troops…and a few will get the knives out He’s had to start again in effect but I also admire his openness and honesty..it’s ok dressing things up, blaming others, exaggerating things, living in hope, not giving info…but just admit the weaknesses and issues, explain the strengths and the position, have no hidden agendas, say it as it is then we all know where we are and we can deal with things…too much smoke n mirrors around.

I can't see anything more than a loss here. As long as we don't get mullered I'll take it and move on to the next fixture.

I have been lucky enough to have seen the Reds win at saints a few times, but my best experience was in the late sixties when we knocked them out of the challenge cup after a draw at the willows
