Is anyone going to the Season Launch on Saturday at The Trafford Centre (Orient) kicking off at 12 noon. Rowley will speak and the club will provide updates. Hopefully we will have news on more signings. I can't make it but hope you are right about signings. Remember when Sneyd was announced ? Caught everyone off guard. I hope / expect, we'll have a new face or 2 showcased on saturday. especially given the recent unexpected departures. And now confirmed that Sky Sports Jenna will be hosting and joined by 'a special guest' This is a massive coup a great venue with fantastic footfall hosting our Season Kick Off. The club have done great getting Trafford Centre onboard and now the Season Launch with a professional host. Hopefully the event will be well attended with new fans being engaged. Still need a Prop and a Winger ASAP.

IMHO worth going just for Jenna! Meh, she's a poor man's Helen Skelton.๐ (that's without all the "Brodie to Leigh" crap she pulled on Rowls live on Sky๐).

I'm hoping to get down for an hour at 12 if my car is out the garage by then. If not I'll struggle to make it unfortunately.

Well I for one I'm excited for this one tomorrow. I was at the club yesterday getting tickets for the Saints friendly. Blease and King have not travelled to Portugal so I am hoping for announcements on recruitment. The footfall at The Trafford Centre for this weekend day last year was 40k-50 so here is hoping we benefit from ticket sales and awareness.

Thumbs up or thumbs down from what people heard and saw today?? Good number of fans there. Would be interested to see how many punters registered an interest. I think you have to do these things consistently over the years. The regular exposures gets long term results rather than quick wins.

The Long game is the real key that's spot on, and what was the day like?
And still no sign of tranfer activity?

I think you have to do these things consistently over the years. The regular exposures gets long term results rather than quick wins. I was talking to the club for a little while yesterday, Salford 1963 probably has a better view being closer to those in charge. Anyhow paying Jenna to run the 2 plus hours was a fantastic idea, the whole experience felt professional and engaging. In addition the footfall through the Trafford Centre will have been 10k plus making visitors stop and question the event and SRD. Yes the benefits here are longer term. The short term was the club put an offer out on East Stand Tickets v Cas on 25th Feb and these were being snapped up some by new fans, I bought 4 x tickets myself for fans who don't come to matches regularly. The club seems very pleased with how the launch went yesterday. As for signings, we are after a Prop and a 3/4. We tried to sign Peter Hola and offered terms but he did not want to leave Canberra in the end. Blease is finding options and the club are considering 2 x Props and a Back, however Rowls is very selective, he's the decision maker it is his team. I am not sure if we are still under special measures with the RFL but that means we can sign players but not register them without RFL approval, this may hold up recruitment if still applicable. The positive the past few weeks is that now the club have certainty on the ground in 2024 and all being well beyond fans have become more invested again. The Season Tickets sold are pushing 2,000 it was 2,600 last year but there is still time before the season has kicked off. All being well yesterdays showcase will push even more Season Tickets with the Socials coming off of the back of the Season Launch. To those fans still on the fence Re Season Tickets please invest, we have a great bunch of lads in this group who will surprise many teams this coming season. The coach and team need our support.

That sound really positive Maurice, thanks.
Sounds like the day went well and the club put its best foot forward and with the TC on our doorstep its a great opportunity to use and well done the club for doing it and by the sound of it, doing it well ๐
Good to hear about a few irons in the fire on recruitment (never any doubt mr blease was all over this the past few weeks) and that Rowley is being given freedom to pick his team.
On a side note, any sightings of Gerrard? Anyone get a chance to speak to Ethan Ryan and find out how injured he was?

Gerrard was not present and Iโve not seen him training I assume injuries have taken their toll. As for new signings Mr Millward pointed out the Prop Pye, heโs a work in progress.
