The question is: Has the special measures referal helped in any way or has it done the opposite? In My opinion it's done neither Let's have it right Bradford have only got a ground because of the RFL Yes they won trophies but where are they now If one club was miss managed it was them Well, there's less activity on here but that could be the off season.
Quite a few have said they're not buying season tickets and that would be a risk if the club is in dire straits.
The story although largely exagerated keeps on going which does nothing positive for the club.
The sm referal can't be helping if it prevents signings, creating interest and stopping SRD being competitive later on.
There are some positives though

Still no news on the stadium post 1st December the club seem strangely quiet so I can only assume no news is good news. I’d love to get some form of update from the club.

I know a little about commercial leases and they are very different to a residential tenant / landlord lease and so the whole issue and panic from the club around the current deal ending has never sat comfortably with me.
when a commercial lease ends it is not automatically terminated. this is covered in the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 governing what is called 'security of tenure' which is the right of a tenant to occupy the premises after the lease expires. The Clubs lease comes within the scope of the legislation, it will therefore automatically continue after the expiry of the term as long as they remain in occupation of the property.
A landlord can only oppose the grant of a new lease on the following grounds:
Premises are in disrepair Arrears of rent Suitable alternative accommodation offered Tenancy was created by a sub-letting Landlord's intention to redevelop Landlord's intention to occupy

not for commercial property So within the Landlord Market the MPs were even more self serving than I imagined! Shame isn't one of their strong points, then?

Well I’ve just driven past the ground and there were no removal vans outside, so hopefully no news is good news.

I hope you're sitting down JJR because I agree. The statement about the the lack of statement or action by the council is all we can expect at present and much better than the alternative!

Reading between the lines of the statement and PK’s remarks on Twitter tonight we are on the cusp of a transformational change for the first time since we left The Willows. I’m genuinely excited about what this club can achieve in the years to come🙏🤞👹
