Possibly about time the Club, Council and RFL issued a joint positive statement if it’s really just a matter of time and in fact imminent

Does anyone know if we’re bothering with a new kit?!there’s only us and London not announced unless we can’t afford one!and I’m guessing there’s no new signings lined up due to no money as well!

Possibly about time the Club, Council and RFL issued a joint positive statement if it’s really just a matter of time and in fact imminent JJR, your mate Paul King was well received, he said times are tough at the moment but it will get better. Best of all for you, Dixon 13, Russ etc he said Rowley was going nowhere. Agree on a statement it takes the edge off of a difficult situation. Losing a club that is growing attendances from SL is not a good luck. |

On signings I think we have another 4-5 to announce but cannot until the stadium situation is fully boxed in the short term. |

Well have to get a move on if they want rowley to work miracles everyone else has started training already!think we’re lucky this year that London and castleford look poor even if we only have 20players!

I’d assume the kit will be released soon club would probably like the money😂 regarding them players with pre season stating will they be allowed to train or will we spot them on pics before we’ve officially announced them |

FYI I'm not altogether sure JJR and I agree on owt apart from SRD.
As I've also said elsewhere I'm glad people are getting positives from the meeting but to be fair the same people started the negativity with the statement.

The new updated Statement has been released…bit over-wordy again for me…but at least showing some of the positive intent and way forward; would have preferred it to end with positive intent tho. Not sure why budget planning has been based on contracts that aren’t there. Perhaps expectation of time scale not realistic, but moving forward by the normal process in the usual timescale…it’ll be ok. Just had a letter off Barbara Keeley stating she has contacted the City Council about the viability of the Salford Red Devils at the stadium. I have now written to Tom Stannard, Chief Executive of Salford City Council, about the issues you have raised.

The points raised by the club, their position and urgency from Salford CC. I cannot second guess what Barbara thinks but my email was very clear. |
