They also predate Paul king as well as these monies owed to council are from koucash so again let’s have the proper facts instead of assuming it’s the Paul king era!

Presumably the £1.5M is the CVA, which even pre-dates Koukash….but wasn’t there a Board member who set that up in the JW days and wasn’t more large sums paid out to end the CVA….but somehow it’s still there in some form
Mysterious…but then again it’s finance hidden away from those who support

I asked the question about the marketing strategy of signings being revealed bit by bit and whether or not it was working .... the fact that it's so quiet on a forum of diehard fans would suggest it isn't.
The news on Rowles and Kurt was good as well as the signing of Davis and the look at Brierley's season but all that was expected, will keep us informed but it will miss a little of what a new signing brings to the excitement levels.

I think all historical public financial info is available under the Freedom of Information Act…so journalists can get it anyway…probably after a nudge But as a ratepayer, community share holder and a season ticket holder I have no issues with financial information being in the open…quite the opposite…it should be there….but we never see it…and shareholders usually have access to good financial info We’re continually asked to invest or fund…we get all sorts of stories with positive spin, get little information of any kind from the Club…except when funds are needed…and we all just have to ‘believe’. Let’s just have openness and reality. |

I think it's more a case of keeping most data in house because some ne'erdowells will use it for political reasons that contain almost no thought for any taxpayers except as foils or media dressing.

As an outsider or what we used to call a fan, I think the Board are great, if tight lipped, i believe the future looks promising, if not altogether clear as yet.
Given that the squad has a more substantial look about it, up to the present, It seems a good time to be an SRD supporter.
Do you think we should tell everyone or keep it to ourselves?

So it wasn’t just a rumour…sadly. The other part I heard was that the Council wouldn’t offer additional loans.
What irks me is that this has been going on for a number of years…lending money, factoring debts, selling our best players, generating additional funds from supporters …and gradually getting further into the red
Well it’s out now…and if your in the mire the first thing is to admit to it…we haven’t but the Board now has to get itself into gear…admit the situation…and then get a plan or move on…because we’ve reached the buffers
I/we await an announcement from the Board of the Club

What I don't understand is how it's been leaked in Yorkshire? Maybe if it had been plastered over granada reports or bbc northwest a local benefactor may have taken pity on us and stepped in
