If its not completed assume it is the next couple of weeks as it is inflight so will progress even though there are mayor elections. Salford 1963 might know more on this one from the Club or our Supporters Trust.

Yeah I can undestand them being distracted & slightly worried the most hated Tories in more than half a century might sneak up on them and win in Salford.

Just got an email on the upcoming CBS Board nominations coming up for Directors in May, all applications need to be in by 16th April and any nomination made for a Directors position needs to be seconded. For example JJR seconded by Salford 1963 and the mysterious Dave character. Not sure if anyone on here has aspirations to join the CBS? I remember Paul King mentioned he might step down to concentrate on his fulltime club role which is MD of SRD that makes complete sense.

That is a good point on King wonder if he will focus on his MD Role?

Any news on the stadium deal?after Warrington end of April that will leave only 8 home games to make some money for the season and surely if we don’t want to sell our best players that’s what we need to make money, last time I spoke to Paul king he was less than impressed at how long this is dragging on again!

A very good question LH Red. Have you spoke to your pal Mr King Salford 1963? I'd assume this businesses will be concluded by now but no formal statement has been made.

When you add the geological timescale of Local action to Tory delaying and spoiling tactics I shouldn't put any money on this happening soon.

So I’ve just had an email asking to vote for the new board members and the statements from each 7 candidates, very interesting read from all 7 a few jump out and sound great but this one person Niven Samachetty seems to be a wealthy person with a lot of properties in Manchester
Does anyone know if he’s been to any games or anything as his statement doesn’t say anything about being a fan

With the greatest respect to anyone in the contest being just a fan is not what we need. The CBS owns the shares in the club it does not run the Club, that task is left to Paul King and his Club board. I see Shirley Bradshaw (Chair of Supporters Trust) is standing for election also. Ryan Wilkinson continues his families association with the club and Luke O'Donohue is young but also represents the future. Heather Robinson is already involved in the club. Some very interesting candidates, I will vote for the individuals likely to make most impact to the CBS.
