Read the business plan JJR it is out there in the prospectus their 5 goals. I do wander why you follow Salford at times as you observe Leigh and KR are doing better right?? The aim of the Sub Committees is to provide resource the club does not have in terms of full time staff and business networks, mould the match day experience BTW Leigh is ****, most games it is an artist that does cabaret in Blackpool I prefer our fan village and theme days, explore further community engagement, etc. Those who can contribute need too, those who don't can just moan and pass comment- I guess its Pareto's Law. I have no idea what went on 5-6 years back with your group of people JJR but its time to suck it up and move on, the club needs every bit of expertise it can get to achieve its objectives.

I have read it and as far as I can see the 2023 objectives were not achieved hence we’re where we are..I’m looking at it from a commercial viewpoint and not a sentimental one
So I’m merely asking what’s the ‘new’ plan as one would as a shareholder in any business..it’s meant to be constructive…one has to set new objectives and have a process to achieve
Pareto’s principle is fine if you have 20% there you’ve achieved that bit

Pareto’s principle That's where you put a blunt knife under a pyramid and in the morning it's sharp once more, isn't it?

Even Rowls and Bleasy can’t buy players with no money Why hasn’t the now extended Board got a plan after so long in charge…not a dig at the Board just curiosity that we’re now relying on another 30 people..KR are developing at a great rate with about 4 people? So what’s the Plan? Tbf kr have 4 actual owners with money not a group of volunteers with little experience only so much they can do Nail on head. M-O-N-E-Y. That's the simple difference between the folk we've brought in to help (who have tons of expertise but not great wealth) and KR's backers. I believe they've got decent amounts of money. KR probably get average crowds of 8k-9k as well and they now own their stadium. So any fans who were at the game there the other week would've seen how busy the food/drink outlets were before and during the game and the type of income they're pulling in via that side of things.

Thing is, Hull is also a rugby place, Salford isn't, it's much harder for us to get those crowds. I wonder if we'd hit 8k if we were top of the league! Owning the stadium is also massive. I always thought leaving The Willows to rent was a bad idea and the notion that a new stadium would mean crowds of over 7k was ridiculous. You need performances, feel-good, and engagement to increase crowds. I know The Willows wasn't pretty but it was ours and the bars were ours. It could have been redeveloped. Mainly The Shed and corners (toilets 🤢).

I'm not sure that the Willows was clearly ours. I thought that JW had borrowed against the ground to keep the club afloat and, by the end, the ground was barely an asset if at all. Wasn't this why we had no collateral in the new stadium?

The Sub Committee meeting was held last night, there was some really positive contributions, more Owners need to get involved to make this happen but 30 plus are already involved. The situation is a simple one, we have current income of 3.1 mill and outgoings of 3.8 mill. This gap needs covering. Interestingly our attendances are up 92% from 2018, the average rolled out at 5,300 per game last year our best season at the stadium. As has been said the council deal for the stadium will get done and then we will have more control of the match day spend and experience. So if you are an owner and contribute to Business/Commercial, Fandom, Matchday experience ore Community then please get involved. The Club wants Owners to become Ambassadors. So to all the negative contributors on this forum, stop reading the **** the media print. We are where we are, if we sell a player then we sell a player. The future of the club is much bigger than one individual player and it is time our fans accepted that. So if you truly want make a difference get involved, row the boat rather than moan. I’m really pleased it went well but I couldn’t make it last night because of family commitments. I’ve asked Jo to share the output with me so I can get involved in the commercial/revenue generating sub committee

Wasn't this why we had no collateral in the new stadium? I understood the Willows had been sold to one of the directors who had a house building company and small rent was paid.

I don't know if my version of events is correct or Chief's. Either way, the Willows was, effectively, not ours at the time.

I think the Willows ownership fluctuated several times.....I believe it was once owned by Greenalls` and then the Snape brothers bought it back...I may be wrong but hey ho. Regards the stadium, I drove over the high level bridge yesterday and usually look down on my second home...I could only see the AJ Bell signage on the roof of the East stand and nothing inside...The AJ bell advertisement boards at the back of the West Stand appeared not to be there.....again I may be wrong as only had a fleeting look over the barrier. Can anybody else advise particularly surrounding the possible sale/purchase of the ground etc

Can anybody else advise particularly surrounding the possible sale/purchase of the ground etc The AJB stadium sponsorship ended over a year ago and as Sale Sharks bought the naming to the stadium I assume they have negotiated a deal with another company. The rumour was that TalkTalk had agreed terms and I can only assume they’re waiting for the stadium situation to be sorted first.
