We can’t blame the other clubs if they don’t help us this time it’s gone on for far to many seasons now and again the silence from the club throughout this just adds to fans frustration I think it’s time to accept we can’t sustain a super league side in Salford facts prove this over the last few years yes defeatist but I’m afraid honest!

The question has to be asked why are we not a viable option for someone to come in. All the other clubs seem to attract benefactors, but somehow We appear to be a financial no go area.

This yet another unhelpful piece designed to be provocative and dredge up old stories for effect rather than any relevance.
The RFL responding the way they always do and not dealing with the issue in house as well as the story being leaked in the first place is all too often the case.
The reason more hasn't been made of other clubs' financial difficulties is the dependence on investors to cover short falls etc.
Although he was proven correct it didn't help that JJR inferred and implied much but revealed little
We have always been a hand to mouth club and this will be used to relegate us in the end and we'll go out of business soon after if we're not in SL.
All the promise of what's to come or could be won't help.
A good season, a reasonable squad and a stadium guaranteed by mean little to IMG.
I've said all along that the delays were deliberate with one goal in mind and now it shows it's working.

If you think that without Rowley’s heroics winn8ng above his weight we’d be in the Championship by now We've been conned from the top and most have been taken in…at least we won’t have the story about re- mortgaging agin I hope….we need openness and honesty from the Board |

As any business run properly you have to cut your cloth accordingly we have to live within our means I’m afraid it’s been proven we can’t carry on like this every off season asking for loans and central money,we don’t have the benefactor to have the calibre of players we have as we clearly can’t pay them and maybe this is the one to far I’m afraid,
