Good Grief, the level of angst and depression on here beggars belief!
It's the sort of response you'd expect with the announcement of a closing down sale!
TBH & TBF it was much better when you were all in close season mode.
Considering not one of you is the sort of fan whose bum can't be seen for the dust this is all a bit OTT.
Just remember most failure comes about not because the rumours are true but that the rumours spread and were believed!

Someone on here awhile ago said we had a better shirt deal worth more but I feel if that was true the club would have put that info out as they haven’t I’m more inclined to think we haven’t even got a shirt sponsor yet! I was told that we had a better front of shirt deal on the table and I also understand that there is a potential improvement on that deal from another sponsor. All of which suggests a delay to issuing the playing kits while the negotiations play out. |

Hang fire, it's genuine question. If JJR has heard a rumor then I'm keen to know what? Its the off season ffs, gotta have something to discuss.
However, I am not gonna bury my head in the sand and pretend all is good with the club and that its all rainbows and candy floss as some would believe.
Let's remember, it was only a year ago that we somehow ballsed up our accounts so bad that a £100k drop in funding suddenly led to the sale of 3 of our best players plus yet another loan from the council.
I'm all for onwards and upwards,bit lets be realistic and transparency is a must after last off seasons fiasco.

The thing is if you're an old capitalist you have to find vague and unsubstantiated rumours in the ether otherwise you'd have no basis for worrying or complaining.
The things straight from the Paul King interview that were most clear: how straight talking and honest he is/was, how things had been held up by a few suspect old Tories and masons(though he was more careful than me on this) and how things were looking up if still problematic.
In view of all that the picture doesn't seem at all bleak unless you want to find something.
And I wish people wouldn't insist they be kept in the loop because they're a shareholder as every fan, all of us, deserve the same respect and wasn't that exactly what PK gave us in that interview?.

Heard today, 3 out the first 4 games are away from home, we have a 5 game home stretch at one point in the season with lots of Thursday and Sunday evening kick offs mixed In
