I think the evidence has been clear on the pitch in the last few weeks, the pack has struggled but not just the front row. Injuries, age, whatever it is, they’ve struggled and looked a lot less of a threat to last year. This team would not have gone deep in the playoffs this year even if we’d have kept Dupree and another prop. Signing someone else is not to the detriment of anyone else, just adds an option to the pack and potentially the centres. Certainly would be in favour of some younger players, the team is definitely ready for that. As for the props, Singleton and King will do nicely, Ormondroyd has been god this year in my view, two more plus (hopefully) a couple of larger academy bodies if we had them would really help. I think we need some fresh energy in the front and back row.

So from what I've been told both Cross & Sio have re-signed. Makes sense as I'm sure Sio would've said something last night when he was on the mic post match if he was off. Seems like his Mrs is off back to Aus though so will he make it through a full season if he's missing her & the kids?

Whitbread is *apparently a done deal (despite him being linked to KR & Leeds on Twitter).

Kallum has been playing jabbed up which I think we can all see. He needs a long off-season and I'm sure he'll be back to his best next season.

Gerrard's knees are f*cked apparently so not sure if he'll play on next season. Shame as he's "only" 31 and would prefer him than Sidlow/Dixon. Not sure what his contract situation is.

I like Hellewell. Not a world beater by any means but he's a grafter and runs some good lines and he's started to chip in with a few tries recently.


*just making it clear that I've heard this from a friend who has heard it from someone at the club. If it's b*llocks then I apologise for getting people's hopes up.🙂 I know sweet FA personally and I'm normally not one to get involved in transfer rumours as I prefer to wait until things are officially announced by the club, no matter how long it takes.

If what I'm told is true I imagine there's a reason why they've not announced anything.

If it's all BS then I'll be speaking to my mate and asking him who has been feeding him a big fat turd to chew on.🙂

The reason they haven’t announced it is because they haven’t signed him!and as for announcing signings that is left to blease as like radlinski at Wigan he’s chief exec and once he’s finished negotiating he gives all clear to announce,that’s the way it works at this club,that’s what blease has told me when I’ve spoke to him!

Yeah I’m a board member you have found me out because board members have nothing better to do than sit on forums looking at what you write!as for players whitbread is one there looking at but Leeds and hkr have offered terms as well,believe the sio thing got muddied because they were looking at McGillvary with Ethan ryan as well they could free a quota spot,heard they had looked at McMeeken aswell he was looking at coming back to England,Whitley looks like St Helens.I should have put all that in rumours!
