Given their demolition last time out and our loss at HKR I can't believe some pundits have put us down for a win. I hope they're right, of course, but it doesn't seem like bookmakers good odds.
I also can't believe that SL has all the last games of the season happening at the same time with the same kick off...... about time too!

Russ, I've picked us to win this one. Sadly, it is more in hope than expectation. I don't think it's us plebs on here he's referring to as pundits.😁 I think it's blind faith on our part but we've got potentially 80 minutes left this season so I'll save any negativity until after final whistle! Don't think there'll be much of a crowd tonight as I think some people have decided not to bother. It's down to the rest of us who are at the game to generate whatever atmosphere we can. Let's all raise our game for one last push.👹👹👹 |

I hope we win and that I lose the prediction league on the back of it!! One of the most interesting season we've had as a sport given the battle for the top 6 and top 2. If Wakey would have won last week we'd have had a bottom 2 battle too. But, as soon as we get a league like this we introduce new rules to benefit the haves 🤦

We are crap cannot do the basics. I don’t think I’ve watched a worse performance in terms of unforced knock on’s or loose passes. That tonight was not acceptable. Rowley ball has been lost into a black hole. Big changes are needed over the winter we’ve gone backwards. On the evidence of the last 3 months we will be bottom 4 next season. Hard to find any positives other than Ollie’s hit in the 2nd half.

I’ve seen under 18s teams with better attacking structure than we had tonight. Rowley said we’ve not been polished pretty much all season. Doing basics, completing sets, having discipline, tackling as a unit costs nothing. Rowley and his coaching team need to get the correct young players in and ensure we are executing on the basics. Tonight’s performance was farcical. |

Come on guys, the team had Covid and a number of our v limited squad playing with injuries…but for an interception we might hav3 won.
Catalan forwards massive…and as they tired 3 long stoppages to change shirts and give them a rest…no offsides against Catalan, which was a joke..beyond me
The team were busted tonight, the game was awful in the conditions and we were running on empty
If you don’t think Rowley has done a good job this year with the v limited resources and a few of those players let’s face it, are Championship level only with an old pack which is all we can afford, then go and watch Huddersfield or zleeds
Even with 3 games lost Leigh Leeds Saints due to poor reffing we won one game more than last season so…Well done Salford Reds, we’ll done Rowley and the coaching staff…as a Club we need to raise money tho…and not from the same old fans

M I’m not sure where these young forwards are that you keep talking about but with a badly wrecked team we came within a whisker of potentially winning tonight…if you can find a better coach than Rowley bring him in Dupree and Luckely gone because we haven’t got the funds mate so we’re stuck with old timers…Dupree sold to pay off debts presumably |

The question I ask,do you think We have had a good season because with what we have got in the squad I do, anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't live on this planet in my opinion,and I don't mean that sarcastically I asked you who should replace Paul Rowley because evidently you don't think he is good enough.I do really think some on here have delusions of grandeur of what we are at this moment in time We have come top of a league that includes last year's grand finalist who have won the Super League and two teams that have got sugar daddies.It could have been worse we could have been in wakefields boat. |

Well I hate to say this but I'm glad that season's over. And I'm even happier we don't have to play another of those sides for the umpteenth time.
There's plenty to be positive about and moving on is better than fault finding.

Always positive about the rugby PR, what the coaching staff achieve with small resources and often a busted squad is good, even tho when we get young forwards developing like Dupree and Luckely they get picked off…sadly in reality we’re still in survival mode and generally a selling team…but we’ve hung on to Croft. It’s the Rugby that generates the crowds
On top of the forwards today we’ll have Gerrard, King V, Wright all back plus Dixon and Sidlow fit and maybe a couple of others…and remember last year we had a big number of players on international duty and consequently a poor pre season
PR with a few additions we should be in with a chance of top 6 next season. The only downside is the ageing of Sneyd and Watkins and the form of a couple of the forwards but Bleasy will probably be able to move a couple on as he has this year if needed
