Chuck in the rumoured Liam Byrne and Harvie Hill and front line looks pretty solid. Replacing Croft and now Partington will be this years headache.
Wonder if we could ask for Ratchford as part of the Partington deal too? Would cover full back and stand off positions easily as well as a top notch goal kicker if Sneyd not available.

It's hard not be totally dismayed at present your suggestions are great but sad to say hardly the stuff of legends and fairytale seasons, and more likely much worse.
The board were wrong to announce the things they have, in the way they have.
Maybe things will turn out better than they look but it's difficult to see a silver lining in all this.

Agree with many posts on here in that hard to see a silver lining when we dont know what cloud to look in. Deep down most of us expected to lose Croft at some point but the Partington one, should it happen would be a gut punch similar to Dupree in that he is just making his mark and yet again a bigger team has just swooped in and taken him away.

According to the Yorkshire live website, Featherstone had signed 5 or 6 players as long as they got promoted to Superleague, One of the players is Danny addy, Seems he's surplus to requirements at Salford.

Hobson being chased by lots of clubs V strange how absolutely no news at all, not even a glimpse of a rumour coming out of the Club, when it says we have a good amount more to spend next season….perhaps another fundraising event🙃 I do not get the delays here, if we are selling Croft - do it an move on. There are players with potential out there. |

So as it stands today, the only players not resigned for 2024 are Addy and Hellewell. I'd keep Hellewell for another season. Interestingly Leigh have a few players off contract including Ava Seumanufagai. Josh Bowden at Wakey also needs to find a club.

Several things here as we seem to be behind the Eightball at present, and slow in action and decision making.
If agreements have not been made with signings I suspect we could end up with London in front of us in the queue. It seems that things might just pass us by at this rate which appears to be geological time wise.

Some Leeds fans think the Croft deal won’t happen as we want £300k, Croft doesn’t want to go Leeds due to commute and he also wants a get out NRL clause. GH counters this and offers £50k more and we have said no thank you. Some speculation but probably not far from the truth.
