Before the sin binning Dixon, Ritson had his foot in touch with the touch judge standing over him….possibly the last match of the season for me and I’m a season ticket holder; totally pointless watching such a poor show from the officials Why waste a sunny Sunday afternoon…I could b3 doing th3 garden Wow I cannot believe I agree with JJR, Smith is a prick. I spoke to McManus on this way out and he was class. Eammon acknowledged we were hard done by and it went in Saints favour against Leigh with the Ref it did not. I am with JJR, this games is fucked, you cannot win when you get penalised constantly for nothing. I spoke to Syned, he is sick of the officiating, but as Uncle Eammon told me nothing changes ever with the RFL. Gallant effort boys you deserved a win. Anyone on this forum who thinks you can win a game of Rugby when you do not have the ball I urge you to play a game. Refs are killing the sport. |

Just discovered Trevor Hunt wasn't at the game he was at Leeds v Leigh. Still, he's never been fond of Salford,
Still would like to know who was commenting alongside Jack Dearden.
But as my flight has just been called for boarding so my only concern is 90 minutes on easyjet and avoiding the Huddersfield fan a few rows in front of me.

Yes we can all blame the ref and there was some poor stuff but again why play with 16 men?we were clearly struggling to get any yards and we leave ormondroyd on bench granted he hasn’t had a great season but at least a ten minute spurt would have freshened one of the others up! I missed that LHRed did he not come on? that's why I do not rate Rowley like some on here, it contributes to our own downfall. Not the first time our coach has made stupid decisions with Subs by not involving them. The effort from the other lads is even more impressive. |

I just read on Twitter that the only comments made on the match officials during the commentary were when we were given a penalty for what they believed was a "soft tackle" on Danny Addy. Maybe Hunts eyesight and judgement is giving him problems, or he's just a plonker. Him and that Dearden wouldn't be out place at the Tower circus. |

I told this forum many times These referee's will kill this game as a spectator sport as sure as the Lord made little apples.One or two have got the message at last. As you know I am in Paul Rowley's corner but him shaking Smith's hand I can't stomach. |

Radio commentators were disappointed in Jack smith giving a soft high tackle on Ackers in second half. Said he only gave it because of the cry from the Salford fans. They sounded disappointed at the officiating all round. I'd guess that was Trevor Hunt, Who probably said that, and probably gushing praise for St Helens, no doubt. It was Jack Deaden. Glowing with praise for Salford first half. Thought we were hard done by in the ref decision making and have been for a few games. But critical of salfords lack of discipline. Critical of officiating. I |

Whilst there were some dubious decisions I don’t think that caused us to lose.
Felt we threw it away if I’m honest. We were controlling the game first half and then we came out second half a completely different team. That first 5-10 minutes just set the tone.

NO one should be in trouble for telling the truth,Smith was a disgrace pure and simple.I say the official Should come an explain some of their decisions it will not happen because they hide behind no one will do the job,as for Rowley you might as well be done for saying what you think as done for nothing,the only thing I take issue with is why coach Shook Smith's hand when he walked past he should of just shook is head. |
