No matter the player given most clubs financial circumstances if another club makes an offer north of £150k then it would have to be considered. As long as the fees received for Dupree, and in time Croft, are re-invested in the 1st team. If this enables us to improve the overall squad then its the bitter bullet we have to take. Couldn’t disagree more Croft will go at some point. But we would be a lot weaker without him, players like him aren’t easy to find we definitely won’t have a “improved squad If and when he does go I will say thank you for your service and good luck in future,but know player is bigger than any club. |

Imagine our reputation in Australia has never been higher given how we have really improved the likes of Hastings, Lussick, Croft and Lafai. Given the talent pool available down there then there will be younger players looking to build a reputation for themselves. If we can utilise our scouting then there will be diamonds there to unveil.

WR, think he’s done well with little resource..Hastings, Croft, Sneyd, Lafai, Cross, Dupree, Brierley, Ackers, Watkins, Wright, BMM, Obrien, Luis, etc…a few poor ones as expected but without the funds made us a pile of money and keeping our playing heads above water. A lot of these like Hastings and Croft really shooting blind
Wonder if we’ll get 3nough funds to fill our Quota Spot this year. All about money in the end

I think you might be a little obsessed with greenbacks, moolah, dosh and readies JJR.
I can say from watching SRD alone that if it was all about money not only would the history of the club look very different it wouldn't have been half as interesting.

Guarantee the fee for Croft will be substantially more that 100k, let’s be honest we turned down 150k from St George when he had a year left! They are hardly going to insert a clause for less than that in a long term deal are they? |

An absolute shambles if the NRL clause is 78k nothing more than tokenism the 7 year contract. |
