Lots of activity on Twitter about this, if his NRL Buy Out Clause is 78k then the 7 year contract was pointless. Brodie is talented I have no idea why he would go to Wests other than for cash, however it will be Brisbane all over again for him in a failing team.

You only have to look at Jackson to see the outcome which is very sobering, but that's the way it goes.

No matter the player given most clubs financial circumstances if another club makes an offer north of £150k then it would have to be considered. As long as the fees received for Dupree, and in time Croft, are re-invested in the 1st team. If this enables us to improve the overall squad then its the bitter bullet we have to take.

Couldn’t disagree more Croft will go at some point. But we would be a lot weaker without him, players like him aren’t easy to find we definitely won’t have a “improved squad” |

Brodie was a Marshall signing probably the most inspired in recent years. Rowley made a great call taking a chance on Lafai. It underlines the need to fill a quota spot with the monies coming in for Dupree rather than spending it on journeyman older forwards like this season.
