10 minute purple patch. Couple of absolute gifts from Cas but we've been far from perfect. Quite a few missed tackles already.

24-10 HT. Another really sloppy try conceded right on the hooter.
Strange game. Not been anywhere near our best but look like we could score every time we go down their end but defensively we've missed way too many tackles.
Cas have lost McShane & Fonua to injury so really down to bare bones.

Well well well, 8 games out of nine, joint top of the super League and I don't even think we've hit top gear in attack!! This season has the potential to surpass all the recent success based on gritty defence and our new found inability to implode like Salford teams of yesteryear. Atkin and sneyd superb tonight (bet ackers is worried!). On to KR again next week which will be tricky but these lads know how to grind it out and who knows where this ride will end

That's apparently late in the game not before KO. There were loads of people who spent the last 10-15 mins peering over the side terrace but I'm not sure much happened TBH. From what I've seen and read from a couple of pretty tame online videos and some Cas fans rant on Facebook it looks to be mountain out of molehill stuff. No surprise that tinpot "journo" Matthew Shaw has jumped all over it though. |
