Big game (they all are recently) but another 2
Points can really settle us in the top 7. Little bit of a gap now between top 7 and Leeds.

2 points would be huge. I can't see Leeds losing this week so a win would keep us 6 points ahead and we still have to play them at our place. Hull KR are two points behind and I'd fancy Catalan in that game so we could open up a 4 points gap on Hull KR. The Leigh v Hull game is a win-win for us really. If Leigh wins then Hull would be 8 points behind. If Hull wins they would be 6 points behind and Leigh will be 2 points behind. I'd prefer a Hull win. The Saints v Wigan game is another win-win really. If Saints win then we can go 2 points ahead of Wigan and Saints, though Saints have a game in hand. If Wigan wins we'd be on the same points and Saints would be 4 points behind us with a game in hand. I'd prefer a Wigan win. I'd like Hudds to beat Warrington as we would then join Warringont on 20 points, but again it doesn't matter too much for us. If Hudds lose I think they say bye to any chance of the playoffs.

According to Rowley, Ackers unlikely to return this week, but on one Team of the Week Atkin (plus Brierley and Croft) was in at hooker

A gap to Hull KR would be really good at this stage of the season.
Very winnable game at Castleford but need to be on it. Thought we played some good stuff against Hull KR on Saturday just overplayed a little bit that’s our style. Brodie looking like he’s getting back to a bit of form/fitness. Good signs for 2nd half of the season.
Hopefully a run of continuous games in the backs will give us a bit more consistency in our attack.

When we lost to kr at the start of the season our heads seem to go down when we got behind, but now when we’re behind there’s a belief, determination and resilience to come thro the bad patches
Let’s face it but for our ‘trying to score off every play’ and some vpoor reffing we’d have won the kr match by 25 pts
The other often unmentioned attributes are Sneyds ability to control the game and Watkins determination to do lots of the graft, both in the last 20 min

Agree with everything Rowley said in that press conference, I expect a really hard fought game here, they will be pumped as hell and I hope we don't lose our heads or start giving silly pens away. Very lucky to have Atkin coming in again, he's that good that you barely miss ackers (who I think is one of the best hookers in SL). Salford by 8 hopefully no injuries.

If we want to challenge this year then these are the games we need to win. Cas just about beat a Leeds team missing loads of players. A few early tries on Friday and the pressure will build on them.

Having said that it's about how you turn up for the game rather than the opposition you face.
