Good to see Stone in and not a weeks HIA off I’d bench Stone after last week and give Ben Hellewell the opportunity to start in the 2nd Row.

I think Stone will start so long as he is fit. Rowley obviously sees something and gave him a starting number pre-season and he's started all games while fit. I also think he veiws Hellewell as a high-motor player to spell Partington at LF with Stone and Watkins playing the full 80

I think Stone has a lot of potential. He’s still only a handful of games in to his time at Salford.
Sio, Cross, Watkins - Stone, Lafai, Burgess
If we keep them fit and playing together then I think we will get the rewards.

Three things: Stone can trouble defences which for a forward is no mean thing, Bourouh needs far more credit than he recieves and the look on Pratington's face when SRD let that soft try in against HKR spoke volumes.

I haven't seen any of this with Stone yet. I've seen him have one good match and the rest he has been distinctively average. Obviously he's on a 2 year deal and Rowley needs to keep working with him and give him game time to make him better. This maybe the best game for him to play and hopefully he can improve, because currently I think helliwell, wright and longstaff all look better options when fit.

Think Stone is one of those who do a lot of work not noticed. Longstaff not in the squad this week for some reason…Cas missing Mellor as well as Watts I think Longstaff a bit light at the mo to play week in week out, but looking good for the future

Anyone able to answer my original question? Tv? 😂 Also, everyone seems to be backing us. Guaranteed L! Not on 📺 and not available to stream online as far as I can tell. Not checked Sky listings but it's bound to be Stains-Wiggin match they televise. If you haven't already signed up for RDTV it's well worth it. All games shown 24/48 hours after the match takes place plus club interviews etc. I'll be at game later so will try and post score updates here as I doubt BBC Manchester will give us a huge amount of coverage.

Having just got back from down south I am not travelling tonight. I'm looking at who Cas are missing Watts/Eden/Milner has gone, and expect a Salford win. If we play tight first ten mins then expand we should have enough to beat a Cas team that has struggled most weeks. Next two games are massive for our season.

A few youngsters in for Cas tonight. Hopefully the passes will stick and we'll get the win.

6-4 Solly. Gift from them to give Williams a walk in try and then a gift back from Tim.🤦♂️
Started pretty lethargically.
