Well this game should be higher up the billing on Saturday for a start - Leeds v Cas is hardly a blockbuster.
So Salford travel to Magic off the back of a couple of wins and with key players back, Ackers and Wright missing. This is a very winnable game as KR will be missing Abdul, Coote and Ryan at least. I believe we have a superior back line and that is where we need to win the game. This has the potential to be a real spectacle for those watching.

Really looking forward to this one. Up on the Fun Bus from the Dog & P for the day. Few beverages in the sun up in Geordieland, see how the Salford boys go on before decamping en masse to the St James' Social Club for the FA Cup Final.
Could be a perfect day. Could also be a complete disaster. Fond memories of the 'Vidots of fire!' Magic Weekend / FA Cup Final win over Palace in 2016 following the same format (though the final was later in the arvo then).
Come on both branches of the Red Devils!

Few beverages in the sun up in Geordieland, see how the Salford boys go on before decamping en masse to the St James' Social Club for the FA Cup Final. Could be a perfect day. That D&P bus will be carnage.😂 Hopefully they get a toilet stop on the way up to the toon as I believe there was a bit of an "incident" on the way to the Saints game the other week.🤦♂️ As for the scheduling, we must be the team that has been given the Saturday lunchtime slot far more than any other at Magic. If they wanted to maximise the crowds and they saw Salford-HKR as the lesser draw, surely it makes sense to stick it in the middle slot and surround it by "big games"? |

Hull KR rumoured to be trying to bring Jack Walker in from Bradford with immediate effect. To cover fullback while Coote and Ryan are out. Possibly longer term replacement for Coote
He looked god when he broke through at Leeds. Was it injuries or form that saw him not build on his early promise?

Think the last few weeks have shown a certain resolve with this Salford side, we now know how to win ugly and get a job done. I'm tipping Salford by 8 with lafai showing his skills in the Newcastle sunshhhhhiine.

That's the one we watched the United v Palace cup final in 2016. Big room downstairs and able to stumble back into St James' Park for the later game. 👍 |
