This is a very winnable game will be interesting to see if Lafai or Sio are fit to play on Sunday. We need a massive crowd to cheer the boys on, its a Bank Holiday too so no excuses for a poor crowd. Funnily enough the Challenge Cup crowds were down across the board so lets hope we get 4.5k plus in this weekend.

Expecting Ackers back this week which is welcome. Does anyone know about Lafai / Sio / Olmondroyd / Sidlow being available ?? Sidlow was jogging about 4 weeks ago so no idea what’s going on there.

Really need ormondroyd and sidlow back we struggle big time when kings of especially against hudds and saints I get the impression Ormonroyd has been dropped - he hasn't been the same player as last year. Though, I do wonder if he's had an injury as he seemed to start playing fewer minutes until eventually he was left out. Sidlow has looked decent in the games he's played but he's missed twice as many with injury which doesn't bode well for giving a 35 year old prop a two years deal. Hopefully, he can get fit and stay fit as he has looked handy. For me, Lafai is going to be the biggest boost. He's immense in attack and shuts down plays consistently on defence. |

I'd prefer Longstaff to Hellewell on the bench just in case Lafai aggravates something. I do think Hellewell is worthy of game time though. I see Gerrard isn't there.

If Dupree plays we need to lay off him. What he's done is pretty grim but whilst he's still wearing the shirt we can't be getting on his back. Don't get me wrong, I won't be be rushing to get his autograph but any abuse fired his way will only upset the team.
