Speaking of music. They players an Eminem song at a game recently and my brother's girlfriend reported it to the club because it has a bunch of swearing in it and there are obviously kids at the game. They said they'd remove it from the playlist. I've no idea how a song like that gets added in the first place, anyway, yesterday they payed the song again before the game 🤦
I still can't get over the game. 82 points and both teams hitting 40. I don't think I've ever seen that before. They way we started I thought we were really about to find out footing for the rest of the season with the added benefit of crushing Watto. Such a bizarre game. It was like playes on both teams forgot how to tackle at times and were playing tag. I was panicking at the end as I really thought they'd score again or they'd end up with a penalty to make it 42-42. The players must have been feeling the nerves.

Question
1 would you prefer to stand down side of pitch or at end? 2 how feasible to move seats from East to North stand? 3 did you think atmosphere better? 4 if moving seats not possible would you still prefer to stand in east stand if ST costs the same as South Stand? 5 would it improve attendance?

I don't think there is any doubt regarding he following: East stand gives a better view for fans. East stands being full creates a far better atmosphere for the fans and the players on the pitch. The East stand being full looks far better on TV.
I also think people go to the South stand for three reasons: Atmosphere - that can be transferred to the East stand. Price - South stand is cheaper. This could be solved by pricing it the same as the South stand. Though that does present another potential issue - sitting in the East stand is cheaper than sitting in the West. Those paying for West stand tickets at the moment would surely opt for the cheaper East (unless you are in 1873. This would also mean using the West stand for free children tickets (there would be more swearing in the East). Standing - Quite a lot of people like to stand, like they did back in the Shed. This is the most difficult to fix. We don't own or control the stadium. We can't take seats out of the East stand (it should have been built without seats there for my money). That said, we've all been to games at places like Hudds and Wigan where you're in seating but how many actually sit?

1. would you prefer to stand down side of pitch or at end?
Personally I would prefer down side of the pitch. View was far far better, closer to the action for larger parts of the game. Closer to the players. Reminiscent of The Shed. Sun can be annoying but no one complained in the shed. Catering better in that stand as well.
2 how feasible to move seats from East to North stand?
This is the issue, I don’t think this is possible without us owning the stadium or Sale also agreeing. One option I thought would be to have the middle 4 sections of the east turned into safe standing like old Trafford (not sure if this is a cheaper option) then the outer sections are left as seating, that way if you want to stand you can do it in those sections.
3 did you think atmosphere better?
I felt the atmosphere was better. This could be that it was a one-off and so felt like an away game. Can imagine it would be great if the North was full of away fans, be some great banter and really help the atmosphere. The South is cold and long periods of the game we see no action, plus miles away from away fans so doesn’t create any banter.
4 if moving seats not possible would you still prefer to stand in east stand if ST costs the same as South Stand?
Yes 100%. I would even pay more if that was to happen. However if the seats aren’t moved they will need to have specific sections where we can stand. Don’t want to be in front of people who want to sit.
5 would it improve attendance?
Yes I believe it would, new people also more likely to come again. Watching as a newbie in the south would put you off I think as you don’t see enough action. On the side you can really hear the crunch of the hits and it adds to the experience
