Very weak squad really only 19. Really need ormondroyd to play with Wright out and Costello and Williams need to sort some stuff out because they were shocking last week. Could always play longstaffe at canter again?

Good news is we get Props back Sidlow and Olmondroyd. Atkin to cover hooker with Addy. Being honest after last weeks fiasco I'd drop Williams and play Costello on the wing with Watkins in the centre. Burgess had a quiet game too but he has more than enough in his locker to win us a game. Did Longstaff even play against Saints? I do not remember him coming on.

I’d put Watkins in the centre tomorrow. 4 Props plus Dixon and Addy on the bench, no Greenwood again. Hudds are missing McQueen.

Lets hope they rock up tonight and that those minority who have seen their arse because the South Stand is shut turn up. Besides new fans we need our loyal supporters there tonight. It is One Game, a cup run will do us a world of good as a team and financially. Come On Salford.........

Lets hope they rock up tonight and that those minority who have seen their arse because the South Stand is shut turn up. Besides new fans we need our loyal supporters there tonight. It is One Game, a cup run will do us a world of good as a team and financially. Come On Salford......... 2.5k at the last count with only 115 coming across from Yarkshire so I hope we have a lot of fans coming on the day. Over the next few weeks we, as fans, need to have a good long hard look at ourselves and ask the question about whether we want this club to survive. I hope the answer is in the affirmative and they start coming back in numbers. Surely the club has played its part in compiling a very competitive squad with more consistency on the field. The board are trying everything to get the club on a steady financial footing so the only other part of the jigsaw is us, the fans turning up game in game out. |

A lot of people on here may disagree with my next statement, but I'll stick by it...
It's time for the club to stop appealing to lapsed fans and focus on new fans, from Salford or elsewhere. Salford people, on the whole, don't really care for Rl or the club. Just a very passionate and loyal few.

The implosion is happening too often this season. We'd be top of the league without it. Still there is plenty of time left in the season to fix these things up.
Great first 30 minutes. Some quality play between forwards passing the ball on. King put in a great shift and Stone is coming into his own.
An extremely poor last tackle kick from Sneyd - kicking it high from our own 30m let them start on halfway - allowed them to steal momentum, gain field position, and score their first try. Not a big issue the 6 points on its own but then we compounded with errors and penalties. Shocking to concede three tries in those 10 minutes. That third try was devastating after PHENOMENAL tackles from Dupree and then Watkins to prevent certain tries.
HT came at a good time for us. Let's take a breath, reset, and get back to how we started the game. We've definitely got 40/50 points in us today - we've looked like scoring or making a break on almost every set, but mistakes deprived us of any position and ball at the end. C'mon lads. Send Watto home sulking 💪

After this first 5 mins of the second half it feels like one team is going to score 40/50 points, I hope it's us, we have it in us. They've had better line speed. More aggressive in the defence. Slowing our ruck and turning us onto our backs. Poking their nose through and making more yards with ball in hand. We've not been the same since King went off.
