I must admit that I have found it to be an amazing experience watching this ownership fund growing on a daily basis. I have been genuinely moved by the fantastic response from those who have donated. The love that so many people have for our club is staggering.
At the beginning l thought the target was too ambitious and that we’d struggle to get anywhere near £250,000 - and I’m delighted to be proved wrong. Even today, the fund is still rising and we have a few days left.
I keep looking at the figure with increased incredulity and am now excited by where we might end up. With the staff and players we have I genuinely am starting to believe that we can achieve great things.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is making this possible. I genuinely do see the Salford Reds arising!

The clubs successful community share scheme initiative will be mentioned on the Radio Manchester news bulletins tomorrow 👹👍 Fantastic the more press the better, I bet Andy Burnham is also on Mike Sweeney’s phone in. |

Almost £10,000 invested yesterday. The fund seems to have kept the momentum that built up last week.
Looking at some of the comments, many of the investors don’t seem to be match going fans.
Some are putting in something in memory of a family member who loved the club.
Others just seem to be people who like the idea of a community owned club representing and connecting with the City.
Either way, word about the fund might be spreading to people who don’t normally receive any direct messaging from the club.
Maybe the board will leave the fund open after Monday and see if this level of interest continues.

Some fans have said they’ll top up their contributions when the funds allow and what I can understand there is no official close date only a date the club suggested |

In my honest opinion, the Community Share Scheme is the best thing that has ever happened at our beloved Salford RLFC. Brian Snape buying the club way back when was a game changer, but this is SEISMIC!!! 285k and over a 1,000 fellow shareholders who love the club as much as we all do!!! It’s incredible momentum running through the club.
We just need JJR to invest his £100 now then he can become a shareholder and hold Mr King accountable when he steps down as a Director to become solely the clubs Managing Director.
Got to say personally I think Kings done a great job, massive achievements on the field the last five years and delivering this remarkable community venture off it.

300k looks like a dead cert now. Amazing! Hopefully, an extra £1 million from the government too. The next two seasons are a seminal moment in our history and will shape the future of the club.
