Around 500 tickets sold, today is the last day to pickup tickets direct from the club. That's not great at all IMO. I know a few will pay on the gate but we really should be taking 1000 minimum to Leigh, especially as we'll get some coming along more for the p*ss up than the actual rugby! See you all in Spoons in Leigh for a late breakfast and then Utd game somewhere nearby. Anyone got any recommendations for watching the Utd game? I know the Centurion will have it on but it'll be pretty hammered I guess. £30 for a ticket on Matchday !!.

£27 beforehand. I refuse to pay on principle. It's a ridiculous price. I'd love it if no away fans went to any of their games.

Not sure what to think today ackers back is massive but the bench doesn’t even have 1 prop on it. You’d have to imagine greenwood is on his way out still playing at swinton when we have the likes of Dixon and Halliwell over him.

When I first saw Ackers was back I thought great... then the bench. What's happened to Sidlow and Ormonroyd? Looks like I've not kept up with injuries. Ormonroyd doesn't seem to have played many minutes recently so I assume he's been hurt. I'm not feeling very confident but it tends to be at those times that we put in an unexpected performance! I assume Wirght and Dixon will rotate at prop with Hellewell swapping with Addy.

Ormanroyd appear to be injured when he came off during the Huddersfield game.

Atkin totally changed the momentum for us in that half. Great performance from him so far. A lot of ill-discipline again though is putting us under unnecessary pressure. Offside a few times is poor. It's 10m to the spot then a kick to touch so often a 30m penalty. If we can tidy that up, territory should even up and we can put this to bed in the second half.
Impressed with Wright in his short stint so far - he seems to have taken another step forward this year and has been one of the most consistent. Stone has been cleaner today and I do think he'll come good later in the year. Brodie seems to be getting in the middle more in this game. I really like King but daft penalties have become common this year... He's sort of the epitome of the team this season. We've given away the most penalities. Something we need to tidy up because when we get a fair share of territory we put up points as well as anyone... and the weather is going to get better for us.

Good win that. Hard fought and fewer daft mistakes than normal. Roll on Thursday.

Felt like we should have won by a few more points. Some soft defending at times. But I suspect Leigh fans will think that was one they could/should have won so can’t complain too much about coming away with the points. Especially when we are so light in the middle
Atkin was class today. His pass to Wright for the break in the second try was a thing of beauty

Score was closer than reality showed.
Thought Atkin was outstanding and Croft had a decent run. Wright and Dupree were excellent. King V showed that he has someway to go before he's a solid SL player.
i also thought, barring the Leigh home support constantly calling for forward passes, that we got the rub of the green with decisions from the ref. I'm hoping that those of us quick to point at the officials remember this game as a point of balance. Fifty-fifty calls definitely went our way for a change.

I believe a number of contributors on here attack anyone who criticises referees. We won today and we may well have had the rub of the green, but none of that negates the fact that in my opinion the referee was poor in many ways and showed his lack of refereeing techniques and knowledge of the game.
