Yes but this thing of Leigh knowing,teams are not stupid there going to prep to play the best Salford team possible so rowley saying Ackers isn’t fit etc won’t bother them the rest of super league are not that gullible trust me!like lafai not being fit,brierley and Watkins out for first month sio not ready for first game all these clubs know it’s mind games,couple of coaches have even said after games jokingly how suprised x and y played!😁

Most definitely a long shot😂 but I noticed he mentioned scouting elite 1 (french league) and there’s a prop called Kurt Dillon who plays at Lézignan but has a fair amount of NRL experience and is under 30. Maybe worth a punt. |

I can't see anything but a loss here sadly. Leigh have really started to find their feet and we're walking wounded. The only positive is that we're away from home. We can't buy home wins and we play better away for some reason. The eternal pessimist. You were like this before the first match. Much depends on the make up of our 17. If Ackers & Sidlow are in then I would be with the Devils. If you look closely, I'm actually the eternal fence-sitter...  |

Stone played well in the 1st game v Leigh but agree he’s been ‘meh’ since. I think Leigh had too many quota signings for SL so were open to offers on all but Lam and Ipape.
Having Ackers back is massive. Think we would have won last 2 games with him there. Assuming their all fit enough to play I Think I’d go for:
Brierley
Sio
Cross
Costello
Burgess
Croft
Sneyd
Dupree
Ackers
Ormondroyd
Watkins
Dixon
Addy
Atkin
Wright
King
Stone/Hellewell/Longstaff

What he offers above Greenwood is beyond me? This has been said before, I think Rowley has his favourites arguably he signed too many 2nd Rows, Stone and Hellewell have not improved the squad. We need a Prop big time or to get some mileage from Greenwood. |

I know a few will pay on the gate but we really should be taking 1000 minimum to Leigh, especially as we'll get some coming along more for the p*ss up than the actual rugby! See you all in Spoons in Leigh for a late breakfast and then Utd game somewhere nearby. Anyone got any recommendations for watching the Utd game? I know the Centurion will have it on but it'll be pretty hammered I guess. |
