Makes sense if Leigh have a Prop, Leeds like light on Props yesterday also. It will be interesting to see if we are in for a Prop or not. Still we go wide v Leigh and we will score.

So if we did have any money we definitely wouldn’t say so, also can’t see us getting a replacement fb as Brierley could well be back for the first game,if not very soon after. |

Derek has bought his prop…ex Leeds, Canterbury..Seumanufagai, (??) Leigh signing players past their prime, Coincidence Sonny Bill Williams hinting at making a comeback in England . Surely no RL Team will even consider thinking about signing him. I reckon he's aiming his suggestive tweets towards French RU. Unless Derek wants to make him a Leopard. |

Not overly impressed with either team, although it is only a friendly and Leeds looked like they had a youth side out for the most part. Leigh looked quite dangerous on the left edge but looked vulnerable on the same edge in defence. I've not seen how rusty we are yet so wont be making any wild claims. On the way we finished last season if we can hit the ground running, neither of these teams off this showing should bother us. However, first game of the season, newly promoted club, and a woeful record at the incest dome could see us with a tough start. |

Its refreshing to see a Salford line-up which hasn't had to change drastically in the off-season due to players coming and going.
I often think that we start the season sluggish as it takes a while for new players to gel, but this year I expect things will be different and hopefully we are quick out of the traps.
I can't wait for the season to begin... it feels like a long time since the St Helens game!
