Agree MTR I just don’t understand the Club and surely the Supporters Trust is there to enhance things like this
Possibly Option 1 is their preferred stance as we saw in the mock no option vote. ML 😩
Has Andy Burnham been sent the petition; think he’s an ex President of the RL

That mock vote was different JJR as options 2 and 3 did not exist for the club it was Moor Lane or ANO back in early 2022, now we have a possible backer and also the vague hope of the council option given public interest.
I am in Leeds working today, but if you find 5 mins mailing the Grt Manchester mayor is a great shout, I've not sent it to Burham's office.

The problem is yes we have over 10000 signatures but we average 3500 paying spectators in a 250000 population city the council argue where is the support?I know it was built for us but we put no money in the council had to find money to build it after Wilky they want money back that’s all there interested in in the current climate!that’s the issue they will look at petition then say we’ll where is the 10000 supporters

I know a lot of supporters are v keen interested and bullish (at least it’s an opportunity) . At least somebody is having a go
The Club has merely survived since Marwan and now apparently we’re v short of money again; this is not a negative statement but it’s the Boards job to raise that money, not wait for handouts, like the £4m supposedly off the Council to end up in a backwater with no potential. And as a ratepayer I don’t want 2x£4m as handouts from the Council. If the Board can’t raise money bring people onto the Board who can…our much heralded Commercial guru seems to have disappeared as well
I am really shocked that the Club, Supporters Trust, maybe Foundation are just sitting on their hands possibly hoping for failure. Sorry for me failure is ML, as Salford City is showing with the lowest average crowd in League 2; ~2700
Maybe a bit of a rant but come on guys it’s a Community Club not a private members club…support the Community aspects of this Stadium

Get your point JJR and I agree Moor Lane would be a slow decline for the club with very limited facilities, however regarding the board I disagree I think they are trying very hard with limited resources. The foundation have done outstanding work the past year to offer inclusivity and get kids into watch Salford Red Devils.
Your clearly very passionate about Salford staying at the AJ Bell and being a community club, the best way of supporting them is to get behind the petition and AJ Bell campaign as you have. At the very least I'd expect something from the club and the supporters trust even if it is to endorse the petition in the coming weeks.

For anyone approaching a local MP, you could ask them to raise the matter with the all party parliamentary rugby league group. The chair is Judith Cummings. The president is Sir Lindsay Hoyle who is also the speaker if the house and incoming president of the RFL.

Agree re the Foundation.
But a big part of the job of the Board is to generate income and we’re not; we even have some players not sponsored. Watson Blease and now Rowley have/are doing an immense job without resources but there is, for whatever reason, always a fallow year as all the big clubs have shown and I dread it.

Had a quick Google and found this link, our MP's need to raise it with this group not just the council. www.parallelparliament.co.uk/APPG/rugby-league

ML 😩 Has Andy Burnham been sent the petition; think he’s an ex President of the RL We have on numerous occasions as a Supporters Trust posted about the stadium situation including the petition so I'm not sure where you're getting that opinion from. I would know because I run the social media pages. I've had a pretty rocky last few weeks with my head being all over the place as it is, so I'll be honest and say this has been far down on my list of priorities, but I will tweet again later today about the petition and the stadium so you can see that the Supporters Trust are doing things... The sad reality is the petition though will do very little to the council, they will take whatever bigger offer is on the table.

Instead of coming on here and complaining and ranting get off your @rse and do something. There's being passionate and there's being a moaner and you are in the latter bracket.
