Come on guys, get it sorted The petition has picked up support the past few days probably due to our headline hitting performance on Sunday. The Saints match also highlighted the clubs need to remain in a stadium fit purpose in terms of crowds in the future. Anyway JJR time for the final push to 10,000 signatures - 9,522 have signed we need over 400 now to hit the goal ASAP. Get people signing and sharing, some even donate to distribute the petition. This petition will raise our profile even further in terms of the right outcomes for the club and the community of Salford. |

I’ve pushed it to more people mate, hopefully we’ll get there soon. The City, not just us, needs this Stadium. Sale are just opportunists working in tandem with Peel and want a cut price deal. This is not a RU City.

The last press release on Sale Sharks and the stadium stated that their lease on the AJ Bell was up in August which was their deadline for any deal/agreement on the stadium. Be interesting to see if this is really the case or if the Gerrard Bid has complicated the process around any outcome.
Either way as per MTR and JJR's sentiment we need a huge final push to get to 10,000 to force the visibility of the Salford Reds staying at the AJ Bell to the next level and into Government.
Come on guys LET'S gets sharing and behind our club.

The last press release on Sale Sharks and the stadium stated that their lease on the AJ Bell was up in August which was their deadline for any deal/agreement on the stadium. Be interesting to see if this is really the case or if the Gerrard Bid has complicated the process around any outcome. Valid points Russ which makes us getting to the Petition target of 10,000 signatures all the more important ASAP to be vocal and raise the profile of Salford Red Devils remaining at the AJ Bell. Our Council and MP's are forced to take stock of public support. |

I have emailed our Supporters Trust JJR without response and most members have probably signed it, don't know Swinton Trust. The best course of action is to share on Social Media, any Rugby Forums, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter I even put in £25 to get the petition distributed by Change.Org
With less than 300 SIGNATURES required now its best to just share the petition when possible over the next few days. Once we hit the 10,000 we then lobby our MPs/Mayor and Council. Shows it matters to the community what happens to Salford Red Devils and the AJ Bell stadium.

I wasn't sure if I'd signed it already, so I waited. Yesterday, I thought "What the hell" and signed up to donate £6. It didn't tell me that I'd already signed up, so I guess I hadn't. Anyway, definitely signed up now and possibly twice.
Get it signed everybody! It only takes a couple of minutes (and the £6 is optional).

If the pace of signatures continues the club should be near the 10k mark in the next few days, outstanding only 250 plus required now.

Setting off on my travels soon to Leeds but we are now around 160 signatures away from the magic 10k mark.
Final shout if anyone on the Dog & Partridge coaches has not signed the clubs petition please do on the journey over to Leeds. I'm meeting a couple of pals in Leeds and will get them to sign it!!
Lets show the Council we mean business when it comes to the future of the AJ Bell and Salford Red Devils.
