Watson moaning on Sky that the ref sent off the wrong man. He says they showed the 4th official on the screen but he did nothing.
He also said they'd have won if Sarge would have been sent off and that he deserves a very long ban
How very sad, how very desperate, how 12 men can beat a team made up of pound notes. Two losses on the trot Watto, wonder if you'll last the season. Noticed Marshall having a long chat with Ken😂

Massive win tonight, well done the lads, if we could get our attack as good as the defence was tonight we would be well up the table, great effort all round, the fans were brilliant, never heard the Giants fans except when they scored. Just back from Huddersfield and delighted to see tonight’s performance. The guts, effort, determination and spirit displayed in abundance were there for all to see. We were the better team and even with twelve men appeared to want it more.
I don’t know where that performance came from after recent matches, but if we play with that level of commitment for the rest of the season we will be OK.
An excellent win.

Was Mossop injured early doors. So 12 men and 3 interchanges? He was injured in the warm up, so Ormondroyd stepped up to the bench and Ika started. Rumours that he pulled a muscle due to the weight of his winnings from the Golden Gamble Draw are unfounded.😏 |

Thought Wells stood out in a great team performance- Earlier this year I thought he was a tad light and not aggressive enough for a SL prop - tonight he proved me wrong . Josh Johnson also ran hard and straight and cut out the errors - hats off to him too .
I’d like to see that spine play together for a while but fear Sarge will be sitting out a few games - but surely Greenwood needs an apology !!!!

Doesn’t look god for Sarge I've got some sympathy for Sarge. Greenwood's tackle was pulling their man down and Sarge was obviously going for the last ditch "smash him or he scores" hit. That split second where their player is falling while Sarge is aiming for his chest makes all the difference and he's clobbered him. I assume he'll miss another 3-4 games but not sure what rules are on high tackles and length of bans. Escare back in for Leeds or do we try Tui at FB if he genuinely was "rested" tonight due to his wife giving birth? Oh and absolutely no excuse for the mistaken identity... the ref was literally 2 yards away with an unobstructed view. It's just pure incompetence! |

Also , unusually for me got to the ground early and saw that Moose was warming up on his own well before anyone else . Looked like he was aware of slight tweak in his ( presumably) hamstring. Hence Ormondroyd replaced him from the 19. Don’t think he’ll be out for long

It’s the kind of tackle where you can take a red/ban rather than some of the pathetic stuff we’ve seen by salford players recently. Stops a certain try but the more you slow it down the worse it looks. I reckon 3-4 games is right unless Wane is desparate for him to play next Friday 👀 |

Hard to see how you can drop either half back after a win though Tui and Marshall had a bit of a falling out after last week so would be surprised if he plays for Salford again. He's been an embarrassment the last few match tbf so I hope/imagine they are looking to do a swap deal with Huddersfield for the remainder of the season. At least some sortfor of deal will be being explored I imagine as I think he will be sat down for quite a while bar injury emergency |
