To be fair I kind of agree with Tasi, Watto did more for us than any individual player, and yes coaches do often take players with them. I’m sure even tapping up happens pretty much all the time. I think with Watto it’s that we thought he was better than that. We thought he was one of us, and he played in to that and talked himself up that way. When he left I was gutted but still thought well of him. I’m not going to lie I do enjoy seeing Huddersfield struggle at the moment, but hopefully over time we can all move on

As a reminder both Castleford and Huddersfield have now failed to fulfil a fixture outside of Covid protocols, hence the opposition being awarded a 24-0 win. Last season when we did the same we were fined £15,000 (half of it suspended for 2 years). I now await news of the RFL imposing the same fines on these clubs .......

But Cas and Hudds have forfeited the games because they can’t raise a team. Neither reached the level of covid cases that would enable them to postpone. Therefore they should receive a fine, just like Salford did. Or are we a special case?
