All sounds promising, all sounds like what we've heard before. If this all happens I'll be made up, but I won't be expecting anything changing any time soon

So it's Mossop and either Todd Carney or Hardaker? Knew the odds of getting the two of them would be like winning the MPG with a drop goal in extra-time!

Thank you. Surely that's not the Russ who posts on here ? I was wondering that myself. But the Russ sat with MK didn't look old enough to have been in the changing rooms in the 1970s . Unless he was the kitman's very young son and he's ageing well! Thanks for confirming Russ

I thought 'MK' came across very well at tonight's meeting.

While I hope the indicatives work the tie with Leigh, really?
If I was Jewish if rather go cheer for the Adolf Hitler first 13.
The academy maybe and the Sale season tie in can't possibly hurt but most of us are glad to have got rid of the dead wood Leigh light have taken from Salford.

I'd be happy to have closer ties to a near neighbour on off-field issues. Sometimes a problem shared is a problem solved, and it is certainly in all parties interests if certain ideas can be pulled-off. It doesn't mean that there can't be rivalry on the field and between supporters, yet still remain supportive in off-field ventures.

Unless he was the kitman's very young son and he's ageing well! Thanks for confirming Russ the Guy sat with MK was Russell Macfarlane , Player Performance Manager , who was brought in by IH from Wigan , Officially Director of Operations . he seems to be covering or newly appointed CEO. Nice guy . Overall my feeling was lots of positive vibes & conjecture ,but little of actual substance. The whole discussion around the Academy / Reserve Grade sounds rushed / half formed - maybe brought on by recent events . sounds like MK's had some sort of discussion with Beaumont at Leigh - as to the other Gtr Mcr Teams - Swinton - Rochdale - Oldham I would expect they know little or nothing . Re Morley - ' Club Ambassador' I don't know what this role entailed ' so in one way not surprised they are discussing a ' different role within the club ' . ( I'm sure that phrase has been used before - Brian Noble ). Rob Lui - 'He's going nowhere , he's contracted to SRD and we are discussing an extended deal' ( I'm sure that phrase has been used before - Theo Fages- Tim Sheens - Chase - Hansen etc .. ) MK hinted at another 2 signings - but Watson is holidaying in Dubai and Macfarlane / Watson sound like they're in control of the player signings and won't let MK blurt until the ink's dry . Although he may as well have ' he could have walked here by now from Wigan' Other points not mentioned here that were - A couple of Directors are going to be appointed in November ' with Rugby backgrounds ' In discussion with Mitsubishi over a 3 year main shirt sponsor kit deal Red Bull staying on as kit supplier and next season's home strip will be based on the Halbro 88/89 kit ... This years open day will be Sunday Dec 11th.

Just had a gander. You have to get through the Stone Roses first plus the Sounds of Salford take on it before the audio of the Q&A. Sounds pretty good

oh. he was also asked about the Huddersfield incident. He said it was sorted and he'd paid the fine He said the MPG trouble was yet to come - quite funny said something like he could hardly deny it cos him running onto the pitch is exhibit one

As if to prove a point, I see the half price ticket arrangement with Leigh is on the Leythers' website already. But not ours

You can almost cut the disappointment with a knife that MK didn't swear or say something controversial! 😃 Q&A looks a good idea. Hope the final signing is a big one.

The Doc has got to form some alliances if it is with the Leigh chairman or the Leigh club so be it.If it benefits our club it does not matter who we form alliances with.He maybe just maybe have leant some sense. After last night I will give him the benefit of the doubt. And so should every one else.

I'm not sure why the Doc would need alliances. What would they be for? You couldn't see the other chairmens' bums for the dust where the RFL were concerned so what would be the point?
