Bad judgement on behalf of the Club not issuing anything about the coach position. Little management point ' in times of change keep people informed and therefore engaged' They continually ask for money but rarely engage with the fans. Community Club? I think not. Marwan, for all his faults, always kept in touch with the fans, via his wine cellar sometimes but was always open. There is more info coming out of the club than I have seen for a long time. Getting a new person in for any job takes time, what do you want that it’s all rushed and the wrong person appointed ? So you think Marwans ridiculous tweets were a good image for the club and correct way of communicating😀😳

Have a look at the Bundesliga, Real Madrid or Barcelona. They're effectively Community clubs, owned and run very effectively by boards which the fans invest in and elect. Certainly not endless committees. And I think they're reasonably successful So have we,punching well above our weight. Elections and committees, please no !

BR but the Club has a committee anyway, ( they call it a Board as I did) but it's chosen by the chairman. The fifference is that the fans community would have a say and know who they are. So we're not a Community Club; identified by the Font we are a club run by 3/4 non elected people. The work done in the community by the Foundation, not the Club, is the same as the work done by any other RL Foundation Have a look at the Bundesliga, Real Madrid or Barcelona. They're effectively Community clubs, owned and run very effectively by boards which the fans invest in and elect. Certainly not endless committees. And I think they're reasonably successful The club doesn't have a board. the board of the club consists of Paul King. The holding company has a board and that is the one that is selectd by Andrew Rosler, both Andrew and Paul have both put considerable collateral up in order to take their positions and satisfy the RFL / SLE. Im sure that they would be far more at ease should others put up similar to spread the potential burden. Also seeking investment as far as im aware so i would imagine if someone has some money they wish to invest they will be given a place within the leadership team.

So you're saying we have an autocracy. So what's a Community Club? A benevolent autocracy. Take this the right way but I couldn’t care less about the definition of a community club, naval gazing after our 2 most successful seasons, probably in my lifetime......so far. Our club isn’t owned by anyone. Not directors, not fans, not benefactors, not shareholders. It has no capital. Call it a community club,or a not for profit organisation. It’s certainly the latter !

I think Richard Marshall is a good choice. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating but he worked really well at Halifax and was highly regarded at St Helens. I hope he is the man who can guide us to trophy success.

Happy with this.
Seems like the best fit for us at this moment. Excited to see the start of the Marshall era.

Brilliant signing that a coach who knows the british leagues inside and out. He's had WINNING experience in those big games at both Warrington and Saints which we need.
