From what it seems a lot of clubs will be cutting certain backroom staff for next season. Saints have wellens who i guess will step up ti assistant as he's been a sort of underling in the coaching set up but nothing official

Bad judgement on behalf of the Club not issuing anything about the coach position. Little management point ' in times of change keep people informed and therefore engaged' They continually ask for money but rarely engage with the fans. Community Club? I think not. Marwan, for all his faults, always kept in touch with the fans, via his wine cellar sometimes but was always open.

Seriously what are you expecting? Have you ever seen any club give updates on interviews? Or in fact any other business? Out of courtesy for those who have applied, they may not want people to know if they fail to get the job. What if we say Wane is in the lead then he changes his mind and asks for more money? Just be patient, they will tell us all when it’s sorted. Also as King said it’s a long off season, they will be giving us info on signings etc over the course of next few weeks to keep interest. They have a plan
And please don’t compare the way the club communicates now to how it was under Koukash. We were a laughing stock, unprofessional and alienated half the fan base. We are a million miles better now

We are a million miles better now While you make valid points and truths,my sympathies are with JJR. I don’t buy into the community club concept as put to us. We are run by3-4 people with one of them at least prepared to underwrite the club. I’m grateful to these people for running the club and appreciate how they need to do it but don’t insult our intelligence by calling us a community club.Asking for donations does not make us a community club.

Out of interest, what would you say constitutes a community club? Serious question as I don’t really know.
What I would say is they are improving in getting out in to the community, schools, local clubs etc, although not enough it was as far as I could see improving pre Covid

A committee is elected by the members and the club is run by a ridiculous number of committees. I much prefer the way our club is managed but I don’t believe it is a community club. As B R would say,you can’t run anything by committees.

Yeah we did interview Wane but we didn't fancy him. No specifics but i think it was something to do with it clashing with his England job.

I suspect the RFL blocked it,as League Express quoted RFL sources saying he wouldn’t be taking it. If it had been Bratford..............

You can’t run anything by committee😉 The alternative name is an elected board for Communty/fan owned clubs. This is the way Real Madrid, Barcelona and most German football teams are run ( by law in Germany) Fans buy shares, vote, elect the President and the Board and the Board runs the Club, openly. Elections every few years I would think. Don't think those teams mentioned are doing too badly.

Committees are full of accountants and investment bankers. Seriously though,I was joking in response to a comment by the Fonz or whatever he’s called. By definition,we are already a community club in that nobody owns the club. Donations are sought and given. I agree that, for the moment,we are ok as we are. The minute you start organising more than this then, seriously,a committee will fill up with good intentioned people ,most of whom have their own agenda. It’d be like herding rabbits. As I say,we’re fine as we are

BR but the Club has a committee anyway, ( they call it a Board as I did) but it's chosen by the chairman. The fifference is that the fans community would have a say and know who they are. So we're not a Community Club; identified by the Font we are a club run by 3/4 non elected people. The work done in the community by the Foundation, not the Club, is the same as the work done by any other RL Foundation Have a look at the Bundesliga, Real Madrid or Barcelona. They're effectively Community clubs, owned and run very effectively by boards which the fans invest in and elect. Certainly not endless committees. And I think they're reasonably successful
