The Font just told me the Marshall’s Wikipedia page lists him as Salford coach.

I heard it was between Marshall and Andrew Henderson. Moose apparently warned against Wane & said he wouldn’t be a good fit for the club. They’ve been talking to all 3 again this weekend.

If we are as Blease put it after a coach to take us forwards then Wane the only logical choice of the 3. Marshall and Henderson would represent a punt in comparison.

Marshall must be quite well thought of
Halifax with no money did well with him and then assistant at Saints. So he must have the coaching ability and links to Saints youngsters.
With Rowley that's 2 forward coaches, who does the backs?
As an aside just read about Newcastles fantastic academy set up, but I won't go on again.

Brown has a great rugby brain but having ability as a player doesn't always commute over to coaching ie Kieran Cunningham. I think more players now are going into more non rugby avenues after playing which is sad.

Why has Marshall been offloaded by Saints? If its cost cutting it doesn`t make sense really.
